I personally would not know where to start with the customization itself at all. It would not be a simple one.

You definitely have a plugin conflict, have a look at GD > design > listings for example. Your drop-down menus are not working in GD admin.
Turn off your plugins one by one until you find which one is the bad one, and let us know which one is the problem.Check your GD pages at GD Tools, and check your GD permalinks at GD > Permalinks.
If that does not work, post those credentials in the next post 🙂
You need to zoom in a bit, you can set the map widget to auto-zoom and choose a map zoom level of about 10.

You are using the GD Home/Location template page for that page. That template is used for pages for cities or states. The reason there is a space below your slider is to allow for widgets etc.
If you want nothing else on a page than your header, slider and footer, you will have to use a full-width normal WP page and then customize with some CSS.
Please post your FTP and WP admin details, then we can try to fix it.

New user registration is still disabled.
WP > Settings > General > Membership > Anyone can register > YESRight, I have been completely looking at the wrong thing.
What I thought were markers were actually Google POIs and therefore the bubble looks wrong too.

Once you fix all URLs as Paolo says, we should be able to see a proper marker and bubble.
