You have a WP homepage for your site, and http://nslabour.ca/location/ is the GD homepage.I am not sure I understand what you are asking ? …
The popular post widget allows sorting alphabetically, and featured etc.

I think what you are describing is the result of your GD Share Location addon, and that you have chosen not to share your location.
That is nothing to do with the GD search function.Let us know if I misunderstood, and if you want us to look at your settings, post your admin details in a private message.
This seems like a little bug.
When quick editing the title of a listing, the changed title indeed does not change on the frontend, only in the backend.
I tested on the same site, and quick editing the title of a normal WP post, works as expected.I’ll alert the developers.
Oops, I thought you only wanted the subcategories to not show.
“Collapse child/sub categories ?:” means it will only collapse the child/sub categories. It will not hide the categories.
If you do not want to give your visitors the option to filter the map by categories, then you can add this to your CSS:
