1. Use a social login plugin for example https://wordpress.org/plugins/oa-social-login/
2. i, ii, iii require customization
iv and v As soon a user has added places, or favorited them there will be a link in the dashboard to these listings if added in GD > Design > Navigation towards the bottom. That normally only happens if that slug is already taken, by a tag, or a post or a category …
I’ll need your phpMyAdmin details too or control panel.WP Login provided earlier is not valid anymore?
Thanks for letting us know.
I did another test and it indeed works fine now.
Please note that I also changed your setting to allow people to register, because without that I could not test. You can search for the slug in the database, and replace all slug-1 with slug.
Make sure to replace slug with slug-1 if you have them as tags or just delete these tags first. You should find slug-1 in the location table and the listings table.
Backup and keep track of what you’re doing if in doubt. At least you can then revert.
So if I understand you correctly, you will have listings of business that might not have a physical location but that might service a variety of areas.
One suggestion is to create a multi-select custom field, listing all areas.
The business then can tick all the areas they serve.
Then create an advanced search filter for this, so visitors can search listings that serve their area.Your site is redirecting to HTTPS at times, but I don’t know why.
Probably something to do with one of your many plugins. Can’t quite pinpoint the problem, so try to disable your other plugins one by one to find the culprit.
All works fine now.
My listing showed fine as well, but I then went to admin and set it to draft (but it was published for starters). To change the initial ‘Processing for paypal, please wait’ page, change the text in the language file for the Payment plugin.
http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/category/translation/I deleted the twitter link.
That should refer to
https://twitter.com/USERNAME instead of
@usernameI moved this to GD jobs forum, you might have more luck there.
SUggestion: every location will most likely have different phone numbers, emails, photos of the building, etc.
So why not add them by the same user and then for each listing add a link to the users listings on the author page, linking like “All our locations”.
[No customisation required]This reply has been marked as private. Can you first update your WP and GD plugins please.
Ands give a link to the topic about the problem you had before. This reply has been marked as private.I guess because you are adding the widget to a non-GD page it is not behaving the same way somehow.
The filter must work different for a non-GD page.
Let’s ask Stiofan.ukume, you need to use GDF child theme.
I installed it for you, and activated it.
Your .MO file has to be at
/wp-content/themes/GDF_child/languages/Otherwise you will loose your translations at every update.
WP language settings are now in WP Admin > Settings > General since WP 4.0.
Your GDF theme translations have to be at
/wp-content/themes/GDF_child/languages/en_AU.mo (or whatever your language is). -
