Hi Brian, I have asked Stiofan to have a look.
August 24, 2014 at 8:55 pm in reply to: On the searchbar the first field with hotel events and such the first one.. #12989Hi Tom, can you provide a URL and explain a bit more, perhaps with examples?
Less is more when it comes to plugins 🙂
Glad I could help, I’ve set this to resolved.Should be fixed.
I unticked “User Set Password || Require new users enter a password during registration…” in Register Plus Redux plugin settings.Hi Tom, I see you have posted the same problem a while ago:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/signup-form-brings-error-message/I wonder what your WP Settings are, and whether you are restricting access to registered users only. Maybe another plugin is interfering.
Can we have your WP admin details please, so we can have a look? And we might need your control panel and FTP details as well, to investigate further if we can’t locate the problem in your WP admin.
I could not get that to work, Stiofan. I used:
span[itemprop="addressCountry"], span[itemprop="addressRegion"], span[itemprop="postalCode"] { display:none; } .geodir-company_info .geodir_more_info { height: 45px; }
That is what is being passed onto PayPal etc.
I’ll alert Stiofan to see how that can be fixed.Hi Dustin
Have a look at this thread:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/csv-location-import/Basically GeoDirectory has already all cities waiting in the wings because how it interacts with the Google API.
Cities get transferred to your database as your site grows; users basically add them for you when they submit a listing.
If you would use the location switcher AND all cities in the world, you are gonna have a lot of empty pages …To configure GeoDirectory so that all new listings created need to be approved by the administrator:
GD > design > listings > New listing default status > set to draftFor your other problem, I would like to have a look at your WP admin, can you post your login details in a private message please.
Simone suggestion should work too by the looks of it.
I just tried it @ http://geo.goldroo.net/
That is a widget on the top of the page converted to a shortcode using
http://wordpress.org/plugins/widgets-on-pagesMmmmm, I might have misunderstood …
Let’s ask John, the Avada man, about that.
I don’t understand Avada … surely you got to be able to add widgets ???It is only the documentation that is under construction 🙂 – sorry for the confusion.
You can already use the GD Popular Post widget on any page of your site, they do not need to be GD pages.Or you can use the GD Popular Post widget, and sort by Featured.

Somehow you must have a different version of FireFox, mine is 31.0 on Windows 8.If you use Chrome or Internet Exploder, it should work for now.
