You should not use any caching, there is no need with GD and some caching plugins store too much and are only suitable for sites that do not use dynamic pages like GD.
You could just try to disable the dynamic caching and see how you go with that if you think you need it.You need to add the links to a user’s listing from GD > Design > Navigation > User Dashboard Post Type Navigation Settings.
That will create some links to the author’s page for the logged in user.If you want other visitors to see the author page of another user, you will need to use the claim listings add-on, and then go GD > Claim Listings > Options > Show link to author page on listings? > YES
Oops, on a second look, it is a problem on the front-end too.
I’ll alert the developers to have a look at that.Mmm, I can reproduce that on my test site.
But it does not happen if one of your users would do the same thing from the front-end, at least not on my test site.
Can you check that for us, try to re-arrange pretending to be one of your users.
Then I’ll alert the developers to have a look at that, see whether that needs fixing. There is no need to use “featured images”. The post will automatically use the first image of the uploaded images to be used as the featured image on listings pages and the map.
This way the system is optimised and you still get the same results.Have you set WP media settings to organise your images into month- and year-based folders? See also
http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/basic-installation/#mediaHi Val, Stiofan will have a look at this.
The difference between Bug and Support forums is that in the Bug Forum you would report anything you think is wrong with the Addon, and in the Support Forum you would ask for help with using the Addon.Worked perfectly for me.
Are you using some caching plugin?
Have you tried using another browser and email?
I was able to register, submit a listing and visited “my” author page. You got a URL for us?
GD uses an author page, that is the page where a user can edit their listings etc.
The URL of that is /author/username/?geodir_dashbord=true&stype=gd_place
And WP admin details too if you want me to have a look at your settings.I forwarded this to the Avada child theme developer.
August 9, 2014 at 4:10 am in reply to: How do I import a business that is listed in multiple categories? #11461Looking at the sample CSV it looks like you just separate by a comma, like this:`Bed and Breakfast,Hotel”
Mnailaboy, that would require custom coding and integration.
Membership plugins control your users, GD controls your posts. But while I just wrote that: s2member can restrict some URLs, so you could only allow some members to access /add-listing/?listing_type=gd_place&package_id=2 for example but allow every member to access
/add-listing/?listing_type=gd_placeHave not tried, so don’t believe me without testing 🙂
I’ve sent your question to Stiofan for you.
geodir_special_offers
But I am not sure that you can just add any column without changing some other coding. Let us know how you went with it while we wait for one of the others to answer that question.
I use s2member together with GD on a few sites.
Membership plugins are to restrict access to parts of a site and are built to allow to charge a fee for access, GD is built to allow charging a fee per post. Some examples I can see (without thinking about their merit):
1. Only members can submit listings: example: charge a fee to become a member and submit as many free listings as you like.
2. You can only allow members to see (some) listings, by restricting parts of your site: example visitors can see all white hat SEO-ers but have to pay to see your black hat SEO-ers 😈
Also have a look at some other posts:

Look for “Is active” and set to NO. -
