There are more than one table that needs updating, so simply changing ‘post’ to ‘gd_place’ will not fix things at all.
What you could try is to export the posts using some WP export,
then add the data to a CSV file you have exported at GD > Settings > Export,
and add all required fields before importing as Places.Thanks
You can add the GD>Search and GD>Categories to the pages as shortcodes or blocks, or to the widget areas as widgets.
Depending where you exactly want them, you may have to edit one of the theme’s files.
If you post the URL of the page where you would like it, and explain where you would like it, we can give a more specific answer.

The archive and search pages do not scroll, that is why you cannot scroll to the bottom of your category list on those pages.
Some suggestions: Reduce the font size and padding, and/or nest the menu more.Thanks

Also include which CPT you want the sort applied to.If you use a correct address or drag the marker on the map, the lat and lng will be automatically filled in.

Something just must have gone wrong during installation. You did not have any events yet or had not added any of your own custom fields so I just deleted the Events data and plugin, and re-installed.
