If you disable location and addresses for a CPT, then how are you adding city and state? With a new SELECT field?
If we need to check your settings, post your URL and WP admin details in a private reply and we will have a look.
Thanks
This reply has been marked as private. You must use the Street Address, but you can add anything in it you like, for example the business name.
I’ve tried adding additional meta field for City and State and it keeps changing the new City meta field. Is there a way around this?
Sorry, but I don’t understand that question.

In V2 we have the shortcode builder, where you can find all shortcodes, and we have added all the tooltips to the different options.
All shortcodes are also available as widgets or blocks, so you can all see them there too. The blocks and widgets have the same tooltips. There are a lot more shortcodes and widgets in V2 than V1 to enable your own design more easily, so we decided the tooltips were the best way. The simplest way is to review your widgets, and then you know what shortcode you are looking for.
Thanks
You do not need to use one of our themes, you can use other themes.
The advantage of using one of our themes is that they are built for GD and guaranteed to work 100% with GD, they include our super support 🙂 , and they are included in your bundle.
Thanks

On review, that is how it used to work in V1, in V2 that is still to be implemented. For the moment, connecting a new event to a Place does not pre-fill.
You need to use the Location Description. The location page is used as a template, not separate pages.
I get a developer comment on your last question. Thanks

I’ll get a developer to have a look at your question too. Thanks
GeoDirectory now uses normal WP registration and login, or you can use UsersWP, which is our plugin too. It is designed to work 100% with GD.
No, most data from the Place will be prefilled, and then can be changed or accepted as is.
Have a look at the various settings of the GD Categories widget.
On the GD Archive page, for example add this:
[gd_categories post_type=”0″ hide_empty=”1″ hide_count=”1″ sort_by=”count” max_level=”0″ max_count=”all” max_count_child=”all”]Thanks
