I confirm it happens with one listing only too: https://cornholecentral.com/search/?geodir_search=1&stype=gd_club&s=%23ursouthfloridacornhole%21+%23time2play&snear=&sgeo_lat=&sgeo_lon=
Secomd, is there a way to make it so main pages like this include all listimgs in the map without displayimg their entries in the list/grid view?
Tick “Show all posts?”, see image. Thanks
You’re welcome

Edit the address custom field as per image.
PS: please post in the V2 sub-forums if asking questions about V2.
Thanks

1. There is no workaround or suggestions other than not making your search so prominent and offering location switcher or categories widgets instead.
2. The location switcher will always take you to the location pages. Visitors need to choose locations first [or choose everywhere] before the categories will filter for that location [or not if choosing everywhere].
3. Sorry that is not possible.
4, 5 and 6. No, but you have the location search in the search bar, where you can add the autocompleter instead of using the location switcher, see https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/gd-search/#near and https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/search-filters-overview/#near
Thanks
I can see the archive map options only allow Places categories. I think this bug was already reported, but I’ll check with the developers.
Thanks

The “-1” is automatic, but if you make sure the slugs are unique, then the “-1” will not be added.
For example, you could use /painter/ and /painters/ and /painterz/ etcThanks
Try this CSS, it will need some fine-tuning, see https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/customizing-your-style/
header .featured-area .geodir-categories-container .gd-cptcat-rows ul li .gd-cptcat-cat-right a { } header .featured-area .geodir-categories-container .gd-cptcat-rows ul { width: 100px; } .geodir-categories-container ul li .gd-cptcat-cat-right a { overflow: initial; white-space: initial; line-height: 20px; }Thanks
Different, like this:
/places/painters/
/events/painters-1/Thanks
You have 200 listings on that page. I am guessing your server capacity is too low. But I’ll get a developer to have a look after the weekend too.
I can see the error in firefox and IE when zooming into the map far enough and then clicking a marker.
Thanks
You will have to create a duplicate category for each custom post type.
A category can only be in one custom post type.
ThanksHave a look at GD > Design > Navigation.
Are you allowing Event posting?
Thanks1. Home Page – Place Details
a) In V1 the listing description is not displayed. In V2 the description is displayed. How do I remove the description. Category settings – “Show in extra output location ” is blank.
Remove this from the Archive Item Templatee:[gd_post_meta key='post_content' show='value-strip']See also https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/page-design/#pages
b) is it possible to display just the city or neighbourhood of the Place address on this page?
This should work in both V1 and V2:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/common-styling-examples/#address2. Listing Details Page
a) In V1 Category, address, cost are shown in the Sidebar. In V2, the GD Sidebar has the GD > Listings widget which shows the image, reviews and description. I want to customise the sidebar to display other “Place” fields and remove description and image. How can this be done?
Use the GD > Output Location widget.
3. Home Page Category Buttons
In V1, the width of the buttons remains the same but the height adjusts to fit the category description.
In V2, the height of the button remains the same but the width adjusts. Is it possible to have the width remain constant and height adjust as in V1.
Can you post the URL of both pages so we can inspect the code for you. You can do that in a private reply. Thanks
