1. No, the default location has to be a city.
2. Yes, when using the Location Manager addon.
3. Yes, there is no need to add a category search.
4. That will not be there if you only have one custom post type (CPT).
Thanks
February 3, 2020 at 12:59 pm in reply to: On sharing facebook correct meta is not being shared #528505https://foodonstreets.com/location/india/delhi/ is not an archive page but a location page based on the GD location template.
The meta title for location pages is edited at GD > Settings > Titles & Meta > Location page
or if you want a special meta title for Delhi, go to GD > Locations tab > Regions sub-tab > Look for Delhi > Edit and then add a meta title if you want to overwrite the generic title added at GD > Settings > Titles & Meta > Location page. Thanks
February 3, 2020 at 7:29 am in reply to: GD v1: where is the setting to enable/disable auto-location? #528458GD > Advanced Search > REDIRECT SETTINGS ON FIRST TIME LOAD
You can use this plugin to replace the old plugin with the new one, without deleting or de-activating the old one: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/useful-plugins/#easy
Data will only be deleted if you choose it to be deleted at
GD > Settings > General tab > Uninstall sub-tabThanks
February 2, 2020 at 10:30 pm in reply to: One category has a -1 in the permalink. Where do I fix this? #528440when I add a keyword with Rank Math to a category, it adds a -1 to the slug.
Are you using the same keyword as the category name?
These categories don’t exist anywhere else.
They do not have to be other categories. They can be keywords, page titles, tags, anything else that gets a slug.
It sounds like the SEO plugin is set to take priority for using slugs, or you are using the same keyword as the category name, and therefore when you save, the SEO slug gets saved first, and then the category slug.
I’ll get one of the developers to have a look at your question too, in case they think we need to have a closer look or there is some easy fix. But most likely it is just how WordPress works, and unless you use different slugs, you will get a -1 appended.
February 2, 2020 at 10:16 am in reply to: One category has a -1 in the permalink. Where do I fix this? #528419It always happens for the same reason. The slug is already in use somewhere else.
Rename things to solve it if possible. For example, rename a “car” category to “cars” or “vehicle” or whatever.how to edit category id in existing listing after the listing is a place?
Just assign a category.
Or if you want to change in bulk, export, change the CSV file and re-import.also what is the shortcode for putting a category ID # on a page
What are you trying to achieve?
All category pages are created automatically, just add the GD Listings widget somewhere and you will see the links. The GD elements have Advance Options, for example see the image of the GD > Add Listing widget.
The same options are available in the shortcode or the Gutenberg block. You can also add the links using Appearance > Menus > GD endpoint.
Thanks
You’re welcome
You need to use category IDs, like 1,2,4 etc.
Add one listing from the frontend (or backend) and export to see the correct format. Thanks
In the GD Detail template, change
[gd_single_tabs show_as_list="1"]to
[gd_single_tabs]Thanks
Each detail page is assigned a styling class depending on the package.
So you could put the adrotate section inside a DIV that only shows on selected detail pages.February 1, 2020 at 1:57 pm in reply to: Questions about GD listing Header image in Supreme theme #528363Please check now.
You sometimes have to force WordPress a bit, by publishing the listing and then setting back to draft; or saving permalinks differently and then re-save as the way you want them. Thanks
Have you enabled the cluster on the maps? For example:
[gd_map zoom="0" marker_cluster="1"]Thanks
You can use s2member conditional tags around certain sections of the GD Archive Item template.
For example[s2If current_user_is(s2member_level4)][gd_post_images][/s2If]https://s2member.com/kb-article/s2if-simple-shortcode-conditionals/
I am not sure how you can adjust that for certain categories though.
