October 26, 2017 at 1:41 am in reply to: How can we automatically remove displaying an Event Listing that has expired #402608Facebook and GD events use different systems. Because the data structure of Facebook, 2 events will be created on import into GD. Just like anything else being imported, you should review the data being imported. We currently have no reason to change our data structure because of how Facebook does things. You just need to review your data before publishing.
The best and faster way is via CSV export, edit and import again.
ThanksOctober 25, 2017 at 10:14 pm in reply to: How can we automatically remove displaying an Event Listing that has expired #402591I’ll try again.
If you add an event with more than one date [eg 24 and 25 october]
then you automatically have more than one event [eg you will have an event on both dates you entered]
Next you told the system the time of EACH event is from 7.30pm to 1am.
So now you have 2 events starting at 7.30pm on both 24 and 25 october. For example a conference that last a week, you would enter first day of the conference and the last day.
Then you tell the system the hours. If the daily event finishes after midnight, that is NOT a new event on another day.So all you need to do is delete the second event you created, the one on 25 october.
So start [and end date] is 24 october, and the event starts at 7.30pm.See image
A cron job runs only once a day to move finished events from ‘upcoming’ to ‘past’ – but that is not the problem you are having.
If an event is able to show both future and past, that means you have created an event with multiple dates – regardless of the times you used.I am not sure. GD normally replaces Comments with Reviews, so Comments should not be there. It is because you added an extra plugin.
Post your WP admin details in a private reply, and if it is something simple, we’ll see what we can do regarding that non-GD plugin. Thanks
No, that last post was not private.
The earlier one with the password was, but the password or username is incorrect. Are you trying to change theme? What is the error you are getting? Which theme are you trying to activate?
I am not sure why you expect everything to be fixed 3 minutes after you post your incorrect password, maybe review our support policy at https://wpgeodirectory.com/support-policy/

It is not really that complicated and when you use the code snippets plugin, you cannot make a mistake really.

If you want to give users the option to advertise special offers, you can use the special offers custom field.
If you want to give users the option to add vouchers for their customers, you will need a third party plugin: https://wpgeodirectory.com/downloads/gt-vouchers-geodirectory/

The shortcode should display whatever your settings are at GD > Place Settings > Custom Fields.
If you add the address field to show in “Listings page”, it will show in your gd_listings shortcode.See also https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-place-settings/#show
