Hi Kirsten, let us know if you want to set things up for you, just post your URL and WP Admin details in a private reply and we will get you started if you like.
If you follow these steps, you should have a working directory ready: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/basic-installation/Yes, most videos are getting a bit old now, GD has improved a lot since those videos.
Directory starter is only a theme, and you can basically use any theme, but the starter theme is a free theme developed specifically by GD for GD.So let us know if you want to give us a hand, but I will get Paolo to have a look at your topic too.
Thanks
No that is not possible. Every listing needs a complete address or it cannot be shown on the map or added to the database.
You can add whatever you like, but those fields cannot be blank.Please check the password for FTP please.
This is exactly why you should use Code Snippets, they will not activate if you add the wrong code, rather than breaking your site.
Which files exactly have you changed that created the error? functions.php of the child theme only?
Thanks for letting us know.
@joy the only thing you can do at this time is to add every location into your database which will mean a lot of visitors will be presented with location pages without any listings.
ThanksPlease see https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/search-filters-overview/#redirect
Thanks
* Column default_category missing
* post_author and post_title in incorrect order
* geodir_video out of order
* no pricing package or Listing Claims columns like claimed, package_id, alive_days, expire_date
* no data in post_address, post_city and post_region, post_latitude and post_longitude
* you are not using neighborhoods so should not have neighborhood columns
* geodir_special_offers, linked_cpt_ID and geodir_Club_Introduction columns are missingI suggest you add at least one place from the frontend, and then export the file. That will give you the correctly structured CSV file.
Thanks
What sort of server are you on? What are the specs?
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/server-requirements/I think whatever hosting you have just does not seem to have much grunt.
And the URL is …. ?
Post a sample of the CSV file if we need to have a look.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-export/Thanks
The only suggestion I have is to put some code around %s so it does not show, for example
<span style="display:none;">%s</span>but I will get other support staff to have a look too at your question, they may have brighter ideas.
Thanks
September 3, 2017 at 6:18 am in reply to: Review images not displaying in the main image area of the listing #394102Images submitted as part of a review do not become part of the images submitted by the owner of the listing. That would require a customization. Thanks
The topic I linked to gives you the CSS required: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/address-format-in-map-location-bubble/#post-388402
Thanks
GD Detail pages cannot be found in WP Pages.
You could hide the bars with CSS probably.Thanks
It is on one line?
Or do you mean on a smaller screen?
Change.gd-cpt-widget-list .gd-cpt-wrow {min-width: 145px;}to maybe 18% or 100px.
Just play with it till you’re happy.Thanks
