I am guessing you turned off recurring events at
GD > Event Settings > Disable Recurring Feature ?
Did you create any categories for the Events?

None of our products has a popup login [as far as I know].

Try Hybrid map, you can always test how it looks in a different browser, or log out and refresh.

We need to know what plugins etc you are using, there is no way we can guess what is happening without checking your WP settings and plugins.
Possibly your permalinks settings are incorrect, it is a lot easier to just check it out in your WP admin.
