Please review https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-place-settings/#sorting
Search results are ordered by relevance to the search criteria used by the visitor.
Only if they did not enter any keywords, the default ordering will be used. Thanks
Please review https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/directory-starter-theme-faqs/

You can only change the slug and singular and plural names, you cannot change the post type, meaning you cannot change gd_place but you can change anything else.
You need to make sure the email code is proper HTML. WP for example does not put line breaks in the code, so you will have to manually add them after each paragraph.
Add <br/> or <br/><br/> after each sentence.Make sure all email address used by the sender etc are from the same domain as the WP installation, that helps too with the spam rules.
You’re welcome 🙂
We’re here to help if you get stuck. Thanks for letting us know.

1. Make sure there is a listing for each category for each location.
Empty categories are not shown in the map legend.2. There is no control, it depends on what listings are shown on the map.
If there are no wineries possible to show, there will be no wineries category.I hope that is clearer 🙂
Read again, these are your location pages, “1” is for your listings, not locations
http://yoga-studios.nl/location/zuid-holland-1/rotterdam/
http://yoga-studios.nl/location/zuid-holland-1/
http://yoga-studios.nl/location/This is a Detail page for one listing:
http://yoga-studios.nl/1/hatha-yoga-rotterdam/
My mistake, you need at least the “Listing url prefix” which in your case is “1”.I will try to test with other GD Pages when I have spare time, but I assume that adding content to them in this way is not really a feature, but just something that may work. Am I right?
Any extra content to pages can also be added by using text widgets, or custom coding. On the /location/me page you will only need one Popular Post widget, for your default CPT listings, because you only want to show “the listings of the Category selected by the user from a default set CPT“.
Add the GD Home Map widget to the top of that page, and the CPT categories widget on the side. You can try your luck at https://codeable.io/
Thanks
That’s how it works.
You will automatically have a /location/ page, see https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/layout/#home
that will show all listings. That will be the start page of the directory section of your site. Thanks
We will need the URL of that page, there is no code that can be inspected in images.
Hi Rich
Firstly, all you need extra is the Location Manager addon, but it is your choice if you want a membership that includes all addons.
This is from https://wordpress.org/plugins/geodirectory/Create a local directory, based on a single location, using the GeoDirectory free core plugin. Focus on a street or go as wide as a city. Expand to multiple locations or make a global directory with our MultiLocation premium add-on.
So nothing hidden, no trickery 🙂
Also issues with changing places to listings
Please review https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/faqs/how-do-i-change-place-and-places/
Nothing new to buy if you use option 2.changing the name of GD home ( i do not want it on the front page.
If you do not want the start page of the directory to be the homepage of your site, you have no need for GD Home.
See https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/basic-installation/#homeBut if you want to change the name of GD Home, just change the name as you would rename any WP page, see https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/layout/
In the Pages section of your WP admin dashboard, you can change the title and the slug of the page.
Thanks
