You need to use the new license for the plugin, not the membership license.
The membership license is only for the membership tab.
Or you can do what Alex suggests after you added the membership license at the membership tab.
In that case make sure you have not set data to be deleted when deleting the addon. Have a look at GD > Settings > Uninstall.

You no longer need a license for Whoop.
1. Enter your membership license at GD > Extensions > Membership [image 1]
2. Install Directory Starter from GD > Extensions > Themes
3. Install Whoop from GD > Extensions > Themes
4. Activate Whoop

And delete this custom CSS you added:

.geodir-embed-container {
    height: 500px;
}

Simplest would be to log in to https://wpgeodirectory.com/your-account/ to get your new license.
De-activate the current license.
Replace with the new license.
Activate the license.
