What I choose from the sorting/filtering/advanced search options updates the listings displayed but doesn’t update the map and what i tick and untick on the map doesn’t update the listings that are displayed. The two things are not working together. Are they supposed to?
This is confusing for a user, no listings, yet the map shows lots. When making selections via the sorting/searching, should the categories displayed on the map also update to then show only those items with the correlating categories?
Also, when i untick the boxes on the categories on the map all the items remain. It’s as though the map isn’t recognising what is being selected. If I untick all the categories, I would expect there to be nothing shown on the map.

Do I need to choose to have sorting by filtering options or filtering by categories? I am building a large site and when using on a mobile having to filter by only either option leads to large amounts of selections and is unusable. Being able to have larger search filters which can then be sorted by more detail will be much more beneficial.
