This combo of plugins is awesome. I have some feedback:

    1. I can’t seem to get back to the reCaptcha settings page after initially setting it up. This isn’t critical because the reCaptcha is working, but it would be nice to be able to get back to settings when necessary.

    2. I can’t find a way to make form element labels display outside the form element. This is not a problem for text boxes on blank forms because the labels display inside the text box. However, it is a problem for dropdowns because only the value choices are inside the drop down, with no label to indicate what information the element is collecting. The problem exists for the Account page where all fields now contain values. It isn’t always clear what data the value represents. Here’s an example of a dropdown:https://funthingstexas.com/register/. It’s just above the reCaptcha. It would be nice if form labels could be outside the elements.

    3. After the registration form submission is successful, the user goes to the site home page. It would be nice to send them to a registration confirmation page.

I am running version 1.0.0 of the 3 plugins.

[Update] About #2, I have noticed that some form labels are sent to the browser, but turned off with CSS. That I can fix that in my stylesheet. Text field labels are not being sent to the browser, but now that I discovered the CSS fix, my point 2 is largely covered.

Hi Guust. This is awesome! It sounds exactly like what I was looking for. Thanks so much!

I’ll be happy to send feedback as I go along with this.

    Hi Paolo,

I just checked as well since I noticed that the plugin was updated to version 1.6.7 (I assumed you did it) and saw that the problem was gone. I’m assuming that you didn’t do anything other than upgrading the plugin? If so, I’m not sure what could’ve caused that. Some type of caching perhaps? But I always do Ctrl-F5 to force the browser to load a fresh version of the page, and I don’t have any caching plugin running, so I’m not sure if that was the cause. I wonder if it’s possible that the process of reinstalling version 1.6.7 fixed it?

Either way, it looks like it’s fixed now. Thank you for looking at this. I appreciate all the hard work you guys are doing.

    Hi Kiran,

Thanks for that. I have overwritten GD Booster with a fresh copy and the debug code is gone now. The problem with the calendar returned, but then I disabled GD Booster and the calendar worked again. I don’t need GD Booster while my site is in development, so I’ll keep it disabled until I roll the site out. Then I’ll re-enable GD Booster and test again. If the problem comes up again after rolling the site out, I’ll get back to you, but going by what you told me, I’m thinking that it will be fine.

Thanks for your efforts. I appreciate it. 🙂

    Hi Kiran,

Thanks so much. I’ll disable GD Booster until I’m ready to roll this out.

A question about GD Booster: Why does it print the paths to all the JS files immediately below the footer? (You can see it by going to my temp URL and scrolling to the bottom.) Is there anything I can do to remove that? It disappears when I disable GD Booster, but when it’s enabled, it prints that stuff even if under GD Booster > Enable/Disable I select “No, I don’t want my source code to contain any of these notes.”

    Hi Stiofan & Kiran,

After getting back access to the admin side of my site, the front-end pages of my directory continued giving 404 errors. So I went to Settings > Permalinks and re-saved my permalink settings. Lo and behold, my directory pages started loading again and my original problem with the non-loading calendar was fixed too. All is good now.

If you guys didn’t change anything else on my site to try to fix the original problem, perhaps it was the re-saving of the permalink settings that did the trick? This could be useful to others down the road too.

Thanks for all your help. I appreciate it.

Thanks, Stiofan. Isn’t it uncanny what a difference a missing tilde or semicolon can make to code execution. My site is back up again 🙂

Kiran, if you changed something on my website, please let me know what it is, so I can restore access. I can’t get into the site at all now, and it’s holding my development up.

    Hi Stiofan,

I am running version 1.3.8 of the Events addon. I believe that it is the latest version.

I looked on all the tabs of GD>Event Settings and I don’t see an option for showing dates on the front and backend. I am attaching a screenshot of what I’m seeing. I hit the save button on that anyway, just to test, and the problem persists.

Stiofan, I liked your implementation of hiding or showing ads via CSS, depending on the package ID. I can see how that concept would be generally handy. I was just wondering if Google would count ad “displays” if the ad code is sent to the browser, even if the ads aren’t visible. If Google counted such ads, it would drop my click-through-rate in the ad stats. So I decided to go the route of not even delivering ad code to listings where ads shouldn’t show. This was a great exercise for me. I learnt from it.

I left you a review a few moments ago 🙂
