It looks as it certainly was a Google quirk, as I have tried again and the right adress has been accepted remaining unchanged.
Another question: the messages of the enclosed screen capture attachments appear very often and I do not understand the reason, since I am introducing and / or selecting adresses suggested by Google all in the Catalunya region.
Any idea?
Thanks and regards once again.
Thanks Guust. I see. Then you mean that Google suggestions have to be ignored, right?
What I do not understand is that Google actually suggests the right adress “Pere II, 78, Berga, Catalunya, Spain” but, as soon as it is selected, it is instantly changed to the wrong one “Pere III, 2, Berga, Catalunya, Spain” before being able to do anything else like clicking on the “Set on map” button or moving the pinpoint. Is this something that could happen? A Google error?
Great! Thanks Guust!
Thanks Guust!
Thanks Guust!
I am experiencing other problems with the Google API.
I have found that it does not accept some adresses. For example:
a) Pere II, 78, Berga, Catalunya, Spain
gets automatically changed to:
b) Pere III, 2, Berga, Catalunya, Spain
I tried to manually move the pinpoint in the map from b to a, but it gets back automatically.
So no way to enter the correct adress.
The same happened for several other adresses.
Any idea about how to overcome this?
Thanks and regards.
Thanks a lot for the info Guust!
I set as single default location “Roses, Catalunya, Spain” and I activated MultiLocation Extension to allow Neighbourhoods.
After adding some listings I have found that a second location “Rosas, Cataluña, Spain” appeared magically.
This second location was the one I deleted.
How is this possible?
“Roses, Catalunya, Spain” is in Catalan language.
“Rosas, Cataluña, Spain” is in Spanish language.Sorry, I have found Whoop: https://wpgeodirectory.com/whoop-beta-released/
But not yet GD List Manager.
What’s Whoop? I can not find it in the AddOns info.
Neither I can find about GD List Manager. What is it?
I have tried with other more actual smartphones and it is ok.
Evidently, my Nokia Lumia 820 is outdated and has a too small resolution. I have just looked at its specifications and it is only of 480 x 800 pixels.
Sorry again for bothering you with this question.
And thank you very much once again for your great support!
Thanks a lot Paolo!
I could have spent hours trying to figure this out!
Ok. Thanks Paolo!
Ok. Thanks!
Ah! Ok. Thanks!
I have not added “padding”. In fact, I do not know how to do it. 🙂
It seems to be a problem with my computer, since I have checked with another computer and I can see the X fine with Chrome.
Sorry to have you bothered for nothing.
Thanks for your great top notch support!
