Today we release the Beta Version of our new Directory Theme Whoop!
Whoop! is the ultimate Yelp Clone for WordPress. It can be used with just GeoDirectory as a simple Directory website, however to harness it’s full potential, few other plugins are required: GeoDirectory, BuddyPress, BuddyPress Follow, BuddyPress Compliments, BBpress, GeoDirectory Events, GD Lists, GD Business Hours, GeoDirectory BuddyPress Integration and Posts 2 Posts. For all information about the installation process you can find the documentation here.
With all plugins installed you will have Listing-driven Social Network with forums and many other features, just like Yelp!
Whoop! adds new exclusive features to GeoDirectory:
Users can add pictures to existing listings
Users can create lists of listings using GD lists
Lists will appear in profiles of users who created them
The Listing and Event pages have been heavily customized
Users can RSVP Events
All users activity is tracked in Buddypress Activity Wall
