Ok I understand now.
Many thanksPerfect 🙂
Many thanksHello,
I read the thread you linked to, but I’m not sure how to do it because part of the code is inside a quote box, so I don’t understand which part goes into the functions.php
I’m using the Modern Child Theme together with the GD Framework.
So I go to functions.php of the Modern Child theme and add which code exactly?
Many thanks
Hello,
I’m getting closer to what I have in mind, but I’m not sure if it’s possible to do it.
What I would love is to keep the two types of search separate:
1. Search Results Page: Search Form + Search Results with thumbnails
(No Map)2. Custom Map Search Page: Search Form + Map with Pins
(No Search Results below the map)My idea is to keep the two completely separate, because some people prefer one type of search, some the other. And I think the page should load faster if the two types of search are on different pages.
I tried creating a new page called Map, then I added the shortcodes:
[gd_advanced_search]
[gd_listing_map width=800px height=600px scrollwheel=false sticky=false]But it doesn’t work. When I search there I am still sent to the normal search results page.
Many thanks
That’s great, I was hoping there would be shortcodes:)
I also tried adding the advanced-search shortcode above the map, but when I search for something using the form it sends me to the normal search results page.
Is it possible to connect the search form with the map?
So that if I search for something using the form, the location and pins on the map change following the search (and I don’t go to the search results page).Thank you
OK, thank you very much.
I used your code in a different way. Because it requires customisation, for now I deleted the whole section (Pinpoint, Reviews,Favorite) adding this code to the CSS:
.geodir-addinfo {display:none;}
In the future I might have it customised to add the reviews again.
That’s great, thanks!
About the lines, I got rid of them adding this to the CSS:
.hentry header, .entry-content, .hentry footer {
border-bottom: 0px;
