ahh. got it. Thank you!
Thank you!
Hey Alex,
Yes, reverting to V2 works like a charm!
Thank you!
Hey Alex, We already have v3 implemented in other plugins. will this conflict?
Awesome! Thank you! for pointing me in the right direction. this was the conflicting setting (see attached).
Once I deactivated the captcha on the claim form it worked.
What can we do to get this to be turned on? Will we get bots trying to claim listings??

I think we are ready for launch!
*crossing fingers
I also just noticed that I can’t add my email in the franchise listing. Is there a way to allow our teachers to use the same email across all their locations?
Thanks Alex,
I’m attaching a screenshot of what I see when adding a franchise listing. I still can’t seem to find the place to edit the name/title or where I can click “claimed”.
Could this be a permission issue since when editing the franchise listing I’m logged in as a customer? If so, where would I find that setting?
Thank you!
Hi Alex,
Thanks for that. I like the wording for claiming the listing.
We’re getting close. However, we are still seeing that the Franchise listings don’t have the option to add/edit the Title, nor can they be marked as claimed. They do show the “claim this listing” notice on the frontend, but that would force someone to pay for another package (and that’s after they just paid for the franchise post). We aren’t seeing a way to designate the franchise post from within the editor.
Why doesn’t the franchise listings have the same editing fields as the parent listing?
Hi Alex, Thanks for replying. Let me explain a bit about what we’re trying to achieve. This might change things.
We are trying to have 3 packages (1 free and 2 Paid).
Package 1 • Free package is very minimal, they can change their phone number, edit address and upload photos. (no additional locations)
Package 2 • $24/yr lets you update all your info and add new listings for $10 each. In this package, you can claim your listing, edit info, add videos, images, etc. (note: we’d love to have the system mark any additional listing as claimed since they are paying for it.)
Package 3 • $64/yr gives you all the bells and whistles and includes unlimited free additional listings. We’d love for these to also be shown as claimed since the parent listing is also claimed.
The idea is that if you have more than 3 or 4 listings it makes more sense to be on plan #3 because it will save money. But, the benefit of paying for the listing is that it will (should) be claimed (aka. a “verified” listing).
Is this what you’ve set up? can it be done?
Thank you!
We’ve set up two listings to test with.

Test teacher has a few other listings (franchises)
This reply has been marked as private.Hi Alex,
1. I don’t see where to activate the title field. Our listings are teachers and it’s usually their name. If these franchise listings could just carry over their name, that would be fine. (even if it means the URL would be …/teacher/jane-doe-2)
2. Yes, “claimed”. when creating or editing a franchise listing, there is no option to mark as claimed. (attaching screenshot of franchise listing edit page)
3. During the process of adding a new listing (via franchise) there is nothing to pay for. Let me explain… If I’m on my main listing that i’ve claimed. I’m signed in and have already paid for my main listing ($24/yr). For this package we have it set for each additional listing to be +$10/yr. However, If I’m on my main listing and I click the “add franchise” (we changed this to “New Location”) I go through the editing of a new listing, click save, and it’s done. No checkout process. How do we charge for additional listings?
4. I guess this is the same as #2. We don’t see a way to “claim” the franchise listings.
Thank you!
