This happens when email field is allowed to show on listings.
I have fixed this issue and it will be in next release.
Provide FTP credentials if you me to update patch on your site or you can apply this patch: https://github.com/AyeCode/geodirectory/commit/9be4957760073ac84d8fa7a19f165f65a9691763

There are some fields which are used in GDv1 and not successfully converted to GDv2. I have fixed this.

I checked more and found that REST API is disabled via Clearfy Pro (clearfy-pro) plugin.
Please enable REST API or ask plugin developer to allow/enable REST API for specific endpoints.

Currently there is no way to retrieve listings via custom WP_Query. You can use REST API http://www.YOUR-SITE.COM/wp-json/geodir/v2/places/?orderby=overall_rating_desc&order=desc
