I would love to be able to use those %%search_term%% and %%search_near%% tokens in YOAST. And I assume you can right?
Some times Yoast do not overwrites %search_near% variables, so we provided option to use titles & meta from GeoDirectory instead from Yoast.

if I keep that setting to diable YOAST title, what page reflects a Single GD Place page in the GD Settings – Titles and Meta section?
It will use titles & meta settings from section “GeoDirectory > Settings > Titles & Meta > Single post pages”

Hi Peter,
The slug /south-africa/ can not be used in root as it is already by the South Africa country slug. It can be used like /location/south-africa/xxx or /places/south-africa/ xxx etc depends on location settings.

Sorry for the inconvenience. Actually some part of search by near location & distance filter is in Location Manager and it will be released soon.
Provide us FTP credentials if you want me to apply patch on your site.

Tick “Disable Yoast” at GeoDirectory > Settings > Titles & Meta to use GeoDirectory title & meta settings.
Let us know how it goes. If you find this is still not working then provides us FTP credentials to look into more.
