Hi,
I have more issues with the Franchises now.
The Description and Tag fields are locked but they still appeared on the franchisee add listing page on backend. I left those fields blank, hoping that it will follow the main listing by default but it showed up as blank on the website frontend.
Thanks Alex!
Hi Kiran,
It works now but the Random Sort doesn’t seem to be “Random”. When I refresh the page, the order of the listings remain the same.
Hi Kiran,
Thanks for looking into this.
I have the sub-sort as random under CPT settings but that’s the case for all the other CPTs and only this CPT is affected.
Also, I have a snippet provided by you for random sort
add_filter( ‘geodir_rand_seed’, ‘__return_null’ ); // Random results on each refresh
and another snippet that adjusts the transition time for featured listings but I guess that’s not what you want too right?

I would gladly edit my CSS back to the original. The problem is I am not an expert coder and have only picked up CSS and HTML to edit my GD website.
I believe Naveen had made some changes to the CSS to resolve the GD search issues but I am not sure exactly what amendments he has made and am struggling to target the correct declarations to get it back to its original appearance.

I just realised that at certain screen sizes, the search looks weird because both will appear. I had initially configured for only 1 to appear at any one time.
Did you edit the CSS? The initial settings was only for 1024px but now I see both the sidebar search and top bar search appearing between 960px – 1024px.

This reply has been marked as private.Hi,
It’s still showing the same results. I’ve attached a screenshot of the Categories that are supposed to appear, as seen from the archive screenshot.
Besides that, I don’t think it should be affected by the other GD elements. As your documentations state on https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/templates/location/,
the location page should be able to “display information about the location, featured listings, and much much more.” and that “The contents of the page are GeoDirectory Elements. These elements are used to display listings, location information, and more.”Could you get someone to take a look at it? It really does seem like a bug.
I see. I thought that ID was only for a particular location. Thanks for pointing that out to me!
