Hi Joy Avro,
This looks like a plugin conflicting with GD. Could you try disabling all non-GD plugins and see if it fixes the issue there?
Thanks!

Hi Jeff Deville,
Thanks for your opinion and suggestions. I’ve just forwarded this to the development team so it can get reviewed for a future update.
Thanks!

Hi there,
Sorry, this looks like it’s not documented yet and I’d like you to know that event category images can be uploaded here as shown in this screenshot http://prntscr.com/bojkdd .

July 4, 2016 at 7:50 am in reply to: Best Practices for Managing Custom Taxonomies across blog posts and listings #220934Hi Jeff,
Sorry, I’m not sure if I’m getting this. In WordPress, each CPT has its own category taxonomy for example the default blog “posts” uses “post_category” and for Geodirectory CPT “gd_place” uses “gd_placecategory”. Which means, they can’t be linked together.
If I’m misunderstanding this, could you please elaborate a little bit more about what you needed there?Furthermore, have you tested this “Advanced Search” addon? https://wpgeodirectory.com/downloads/advanced-search-filters/ . I’d recommend this if you’re looking for a good search tool to use with GD.
Hi J Ong,
Could you please share your website URL with me so I can tell you the correct custom CSS to fix this? You can post the details here using the private reply option below.

Hi Jeff,
Could you please resend the screenshot of the issue there? The image link seems broken. I’d like you to know that you can always change/translate any texts you see in the plugin by using this method. https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translating-addons/
Thanks!
Hi Jeff Deville,
Thanks so much for reporting this to us! I’ve just forwarded this to the developers. A temporary workaround for this would be to change the texts by translating it using this method. https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translating-addons/
Thanks!
Hi stever,
Glad that you sorted it out yourself. Well, enjoy GD and let us know if you need anything further.
Thanks!
Hi lonewolf95665,
Looks like the background color is from the star itself. Do you mind sharing the URL of the site in question so we can take a better look? You can use the private reply option below.

Hi Jeff,
I’d like you to check out this section of the documentation and see if it’s what you’re looking for? https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translate-core/
Thanks!

I’ve just checked your Website and I’m able to see the issue there. Since you want to be able to go back to the listing page, I’d suggest that you keep that button. So, just use this custom CSS below to hide the “Search Listings” button. As for the missing map when the screen rotates, I’ll check with the developer for this one.
#showSearch { display:none!important; }
Thanks!
