Hi kathy,
Thanks for your post. Could you share your Website WP admin access here in private reply so that we could check this out for you?
In the meantime, you can refer to this section of the documentation and see if you’ve left out any configuration steps https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/addons/claim/#install .
Hi Kathy,
Thanks for your post. This sounds more like a feature request and I will forward this to the devs. In the meantime, we can use custom CSS to remove the icon from the frontend.
Hi Paige Kohalmi,
Thanks for your post. Unfortunately, there isn’t a feature/option in GD that allows you to achieve this and would require customization.
Thanks!
Hi Julieo,
Thanks for your reply. You can export the current listings and reimport it into GDv2 later. To begin, you’ll have to clear everything that includes your database. You can use reset plugins like these https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-reset/ . Then you’ll have to remove the themes and plugins.
Hi Brenda van Ginkel,
Thanks for your post. Please allow me to answer your questions accordingly.
1. The GDv2 core doesn’t require a license, only the GDv2 addons require it as mentioned here https://wpgeodirectory.com/try-geodirectory-v2/
2. Please make sure that you’ve set up billing and configured it correctly as mentioned here https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/integrations/google/
Hi TY,
Thanks for your reply. Yes, you can use images as category markers. But why not use ready-made markers from these sites as explained here? https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/places/categories/#faq . It looks so much better. I’ll look into your sidebar issue now.
Hi TLN,
Thanks for letting us know. Enjoy using GD and have a nice day!
Hi absalomao,
Thanks for your post. All GD widgets are configured in WP > Appearance > Widget . Have you tested GDV2 ? This version allows you to choose where you’d want to display the widget using the built-in option as shown in the attached screenshot.
Hi Amy Takken,
Thanks for your post. We have created GDV2 to be compatible with as many themes as possible and since you’ve encountered an issue here, could you possibly tell us a little bit more about it? Perhaps some screenshots of how our GD plugin destroy your Website?
Hi Kathy Geisler,
Thanks for your post. Could you share the URL of the page in question so that I could check and see if this is possible with some CSS adjustments?
Hi Glenn,
Thanks for your post. Not really sure what you mean there and could you share your Website WP admin access here in private reply so that we could check your GD setup?
Hi Julieo,
Thanks for your reply. Sorry for the misunderstanding. No, there isn’t another way besides starting from fresh or going through the conversion. Or maybe you want us to guide you through the conversion? https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/installation/#convert
Hi David,
Thanks for your post. As you know, we do not provide support for 3rd party plugins. However, could you elaborate a little bit more about what you’re trying to achieve there? Perhaps you can share the URL of the page in questions and share some screenshots about what you’re trying to do here.
Thanks!
