Hi Gianluca,
Thanks for your post. Could you share the URL of the page in question? If you’re using GDV2, I don’t think you need to use any custom CSS code. But it’s hard to tell without inspecting your Website frontend and backend. Would appreciate if you could provide your WP admin access here in private reply.
Hi Sam,
Modern Theme is not supported with GDV2 yet. Consider trying a different theme or waiting until we have released GDV2 to WP.org when we will be updating more themes.
Hi Ann,
Thanks for your post. Could you please share the URL of the page in question? If possible, share your WP admin access here in private reply too so that I could check your Website backend.
Thanks!
Hi Charlise,
Thanks for your post. I’ve just checked your screenshot and I don’t see any GD installations on your Website. Is this regarding GD anyway?
Hi Rodrigo Rodrigo Souza,
Thanks for your post. Those are category icons and you can change it here https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/places/categories/#settings . I hope it helps.

Thanks for your post. The shortcode builder will only work on “Classic Editor” and you can install this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/classic-editor/ . Could you elaborate a little bit more regarding your second question? Perhaps you can share some screenshots?
Hi Gianluca,
Thanks for your post. Everything has changed now in GDv2 and I’d suggest that you start reading from here https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/getting-started/ . I hope it helps.
Thanks!
Hi jan,
Thanks for your reply. Yes, you can insert both into different search boxes. Search For – Name and Near – Postcode.
Thanks!
Hi Patrick,
You can possibly try creating a custom field with the listed location and here is the section of the documentation for your reference https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-place-settings/#custom
Thanks!
Hi Vivek,
Thanks for sharing the solution. Will probably note this down somewhere in our documentation.
Thanks!
Hi Michael,
Thanks for your post. I think you left out your WP Login Username. Could you provide that too in private reply so that we could troubleshoot your Website? In the meantime, please try resaving your permalinks and see if it helps?
Hi Javier,
Thanks for your post. Edit your GD pages and add the parameter layout=”list” as shown in the shortcode below.
[gd_listings post_type="gd_place" sort_by="az" title_tag="h3" layout="list" post_limit="5" add_location_filter="1"]Could you give it a try?
Hi Mike,
Thanks for your post. Just tested it on your Website and everything seems fine. I’m able to click on the map marker and open a listing through the map bubble title. Anyway, it looks like your support status has expired. Kindly renew it if you wish to have us check your Website backend.
Thanks!
Hi Joe,
Well, if it’s within a state, you don’t need the location manager addon. But if it requires multiple states, then you’ll need the addon.
Thanks!
