August 1, 2018 at 2:02 pm in reply to: Is it possible to disable the Review and Ratings Tab? #440785
Hi there,
This is possible with custom CSS. Insert the custom CSS code below into Gd > Design > Scripts > Custom Style CSS.
[data-tab="#reviews"] { display:none!important; } .logged-in [data-tab="#reviews"] { display:block!important; }Hi there,
Thanks for your reply. I’d like you to go through this section of the documentation that explains more about “Auto Updates” https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/installing-addons/#updates . You mentioned that you’ve customized some of them. Did you edit the core files?
Thanks!
Hi Kai,
Thanks for your post. Let me try to answer your questions accordingly.
1. I would like to rewrite the input field the content title to search.
You can achieve this using the translation method https://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/translate-core/2. Furthermore, I would like more small this input field and i want a line distance to the categories.
Please share the URL of the site in question.3. And The categories ist not on a same line or height with the check hooks.
Please share the URL of the site in question.4. And the next i have problem with add entry.
Sorry, I’m not getting this. Could you elaborate a little bit more?5. the titel content from add entry, is hidden behind the menu, what can I do there?
Please share the URL of the site in question.6. Look at second picture, the first is false
Is this same as #5?Thanks!
Hi Mark,
Thanks for your post. By default, you have to click the map marker to open the map bubble. If you wish to open it on hover, that would require customization.
Thanks!
Hi Colin,
Thanks for your post. This can’t be done using GD but you can refer to this article https://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-restrict-wordpress-pages-by-user-role/
Thanks!
Hi Diksha.
Regarding your email notification issue. Please open a new topic here in our forums.
Thanks!
Hi Diksha,
Kindly follow this link https://cloud.google.com/maps-platform/ to register an account for your Google Map API. Then, just follow the link here https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/add-google-api-key/ on how to configure the settings in Google. Once you’ve done that, copy the API key and paste it directly into the text box provided in GD > Design > Map
Thanks!
Hi kerrin,
Thanks for your reply. We would need to inspect your Website in order to help, unfortunately. Are you able to upload your Website to a staging URL so that we could check on it?
Thanks!
Hi Dawn,
Thanks for reaching us with your question. We’re aiming to be compatible with as many themes as possible so if you encounter an issue while using GD with another theme, definitely let us know and we’ll be happy to take a look! But as far as I know, GD is compatible with Divi Themes.
Thanks!

Hi Diksha,
Thanks for your reply. Could you tell us a little bit more regarding the “pop up window” issue? Perhaps you can list the steps to replicate it?
Thanks!

Hi Harwin,
Thanks for your reply. Insert the custom CSS code below into GD > Design > Scripts > Custom Style CSS to achieve that.
.container, .geodir-common, .geodir-breadcrumb, .geodir_full_page section.widget, .geodir_preview_section, .geodir-common, .geodir-breadcrumb, .geodir_full_page .widget, .geodir_preview_section { width: 100%!important; }Hi Diksha,
Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, changing the input form to accept “numbers” only would require customization. As for your Google Maps API Key issue, could you elaborate a little bit more? Or go through this article again https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/add-google-api-key/ and see if it helps.
