I’ve activated the Yoast plugin and refreshed the page a few times. Everything seems to work well here. Could it be a cache related issue?

I believe you’re using our “Supreme Directory” theme. Changing the feature image to a slider would require customization. But you could create a new page for your directory and insert a slider on top, then insert the search and listings widgets at the bottom.
