Hi Tony,
That’s exactly how you do that. If it’s not working for you, could you please send us a login credential so that we could check on it? Remember to set as private reply.
Thanks!
Hi Xalone,
Thanks for reaching us. Unfortunately, I don’t think this is related to GD and I’d advise that you contact your hosting provider regarding this issue as there only you’ll get the best solution.
Thanks!
Hi there,
Do you think you can share WP temp admin access to your site so we can better inspect the issue? You can post the details here using the private reply option below.

December 9, 2016 at 1:34 pm in reply to: Selecting Category from Location page shows "Not Found" #322054Hi Benjamin,
Thanks for patience. We’ve just checked your Website and we’re able to see the issue there. The reason it happens is because you’re using the same “Slug” in the “Listing url prefix” as shown in this screenshot http://prntscr.com/dhay9f and the location page with the same “Slug” as shown in this screenshot http://prntscr.com/dhayns . You can’t use the name so we’ve changed it to “churchess” to fix this. It should work properly now and please let us know how it goes.
Thanks!
Hi Leroy,
You can always change the default location in GD > Set Default Location. Check out this screenshot http://prntscr.com/dh7c96
Thanks!
Hi Jorn,
Could you tell us what are you trying to change and what custom CSS are you using?

The thumbnails on mobile are hidden by default. Kindly use this custom CSS to force it to display.
@media screen and (max-width: 480px) #geodir_carousel { display: block!important; }
Thanks!

Hi there,
I’d like you to know that GD plugin uses the standard WordPress User registration. Which means all user details can be found inside User > All Users in the WordPress dashboard. So I think it is compatible with the “WP-Users database”. Anyway, you can easily try this out since GD core plugin is free to use.
Thanks!
Hi Michael,
Are you able to access the admin dashboard? If you can, please share WP temp admin access to your site so we can check this out fro you? You can post the details here using the private reply option below. If not, please share FTP access to your server

Hi Konstanze,
You can start by creating a “Custom Field” for your places. Check out this section of the documentation and see if it helps. https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-place-settings/#custom
Thanks!
