Thank you! That did the trick! really appreciate the follow up and helping to fix that.
Hi there, just seeing if anyone was able to look into the the banner image / widget problem. Please let me know when you get a moment. Thank you!
Hi Kiran,
Thanks for the reply. I realized the Custom Post Type add on had been turned off, so I believe that was causing the issue of links breaking. Apologies for not updating on this end. Just discovered this last night. I’m able to submit listings.
Thank you so much!

For the most part, I think I’ve been able to get it above the geodirectory pages with the exceptions of the Add Listing and Manage Listing pages for some reason.

logansquarist2.wpengine.com/author/logansquarist/?geodir_dashbord=true&stype=gd_placeI have the function in place; not sure what’s amiss.
Thanks for that! Any idea what the insertion point should be? I’ve tried “genesis_before_content_sidebar_wrap” and “geodir-wrapper” to no avail, while trying both of the page references you provided.
OK thanks for the response!
That worked like a charm. Much appreciated!
I believe I have solved our issue.
In the GD General -> General settings, there is an option to ‘Allow users to choose own password’. If this marked yes, it appears that the expectation of the user is to fill out both the login and registration/sign-up forms when they first register. (If they do not, a validation error for the password length shows up.)
If this is the case, the instructions for registering are subpar.
If this is not the case, there must be a conflict somewhere.Turning this option off allowed the user to fill out just the registration form, and the email with the password goes out to the user. The user is returned to the GD listing from which they originally came.
Thanks for the help!
Disabled JetPack in staging, and still seeing the issue. I’ll find out about getting an admin user and pass for you.
Should I expect to see a validation error for the password field (from the login form) during registration?
I’ve added that, however, place tags are still being populated. Is there any way to turn off the functionality? I really don’t want the added taxonomy complexity with place tags.
Thank you — this is helpful information. Do you know if this also affected the category image I designated across the directory categories? I imagine with the taxonomy change, it “lost” the category image? Just wondering. Appreciate the information.
Thanks!
