@ J.O. it is a GD widget called GD > Near Me, if it isn’t asking for your location, check the settings in Geodirectory / Advanced search

It might be that some of your plugin is havinn conflicts with GD..could you test disabling all the NON-gd plugin (also from the main network site?)
