I guess I misunderstood a question I asked the Geotheme forum last year.
I’ve been telling members they want to upgrade to the Featured category so they would be shown first in search results. My mistake.Thanks for the suggestions, As you mentioned, some are just not that important.
I will work on weeding some out as I think things through.As the site evolves, the categories will continue to increase, I will just work with it until I think were at the point where I can get one of our web designer members to solve the problem unless the plugin has more options at that time.
I am still blown away at all the options for almost everything you can think of.
I hope the obvious degree of dedication pays of like it did for the Avada team.Thanks again
I know this says solved but I like the style of the markers, where can I download more than just the few that you guys used.
Great, This has been a problem on every theme we’ve worked on from every vendor.
That would be great if someone could solve this.I guess what would help, would be an explanation of how the search actually works.
What takes priority? I would assume FEATURED locations are first, then by what?
Name, date of listing, distance, key words,etc.
I have downloaded 30 sample locations, then tried the search
For example, I cleared my cache, did a sort by full members, the only location I created, that is a featured location, doesn’t even show on the first page,
it actually shows up as the very last item.Really sorry to take up so much of your time.

Thx, I have already done this, the basic member only has your default questions, if they upgrade to our full member they get the entire list. As you mentioned, I will just prepare them for it the best I can.
I have seen many sites do this but it’s most likely because of a plugin.
I downloaded about 10 pieces of sample data, saw the markers but do I have access to using them somewhere?
Also, rather than post another simple question, Are the orange highlighted areas
for Search, Sign-in and customize my search, Plugin related or are they from your
Theme.AVADA gives me so many options on styling, I wonder if it’s in there?

Thanks, I will have to get on the AVADA forum, I have tried adding the GD listing rt sidebar to my home page but its not working. I will have to get back to this
