For example, for our search bar, we had previously used the hook
do_action(‘geodir_home_before_main_content’);
This now doesn’t populate the Advanced Search bar. Can I assume that if we have built the theme from these hooks then the theme just won’t work?
Unfortunately all of the custom widgets we had were also removed during the installation of v2.

If you look at the description here – https://www.facebook.com/events/1449693431781168/ you will see that there are a load of cheese emoji’s. These appear to be conflicting with the site as soon as I removed them and changed to standard bullets, no problem! So it could be a general WordPress issue.
Thanks for your help anyway, all updated.

This wasn’t the case earlier. All of the data had been put in correctly and it said the listing had been published. After that it went to a 404 page when it said ‘View your listing’. It also seems to have saved it when the title is a required field but it is not displaying.
If you want to test, add the title of what the post should be ‘The Giant Cheese Board – Unlimited Cheese, Mulled Wine and fun!’ and the actual address ‘338 Boord Street, London’ and it is still not updating correctly. Even add a description if you like.
Nothing has been altered on the site in terms of settings.

I have come across this – http://multiuser.wpbookingcalendar.com/
I’m going to install it alongside on a local copy and will let you know whether we can get anywhere with it.
Ok – at the moment we are putting an extra custom field that allows people to choose an external booking partner. The problem is that some of those external links go to some of potential competitors.
Obviously it needs an external payment gateway of some sorts. We have WooCommerce working within the site as a shop selling our own items to GeoDirectory members, and there are a few multivendor plugins that are available such as https://www.wcvendors.com/.
We may look to integrate with this method ourselves but are there any particular recommendations you would suggest in getting the WooCommerce side to operate with GeoDirectory? Maybe a particular Custom Field set up? Is there anything that would allow a calendar picker on the events to book?

Can mark as resolved – the easiest work around is to use the events extension which is great.
April 16, 2017 at 4:39 pm in reply to: geodirectory events – different times on weekday and weekends recurring #373746one other thing with times – if there is an event that has a matinee and an evening performance, what would you suggest is the best way to list as an event?
