Hi,

1) Users are GeoLocated usgin options in GeoDirectory > Advance search. When they first visit the website they are asked if they want to be geolocated and if they confirm they are redirected to their closest location. If there are listings near them they will be redirected to the page /location/me. otherwise to the location that has listing in your database closest to them.

Through that link you need to enter location in the structure : City / Region / Country. For most you just need to type in the city name and click the “set city on map” button.

2) The options that you ahve right now will allow to submit listings worldwide. If you want only listings in Kenya you can select “enable default country” and leave the rest as multi regions and multi city.

3) If I type in Police Dog Unit Rd in the Address field and wait for the autocompleter to do it’s job and select the option suggested it places the marker on that road. The hospital is near by that road. You can drag the marker on it and it works.

4) Gd Booster is enabled and both the slide and map are loading for me on that page (see image attached). Have you tried clearing your browser cache?

the file is there and GD did write on it.
Now you need to download it, scan it poedit using your gd po file and the new strings will be added.

X, Avada, Enfold and so on are compatible layout wise, but we don’t add any CSS to make GD adapt to their style.

We leave that to either the theme developer, or to the user,

Here we are talking about minor changes needed. You just need to adapt the width of the search form fields…

If you provide a link I can point you in the right direction, if you follow this tutorial you can learn how to do this by yourself. It simpler than it looks.

at the moment there is no easy way to do this. Hard coding it wouldn’t be a good idea. It would probably be better to build a custom search widget from within your theme functions.php file, starting from the code of the original search widget.

I’ve asked to the developers if they can provide a tutorial to do this, but this is considered a customization and I fear they won’t be able to provide this as quickly as you probably need it.

it appears that the theme is adding his own style to it and not being a theme designed to be compatible with GD, you’ll need to tweak it’s css.
