GD Booster problem with email is sovled.

The website is too slow to be on a dedicated with 4 cores and 8gb of ram. Our VPS with 1GB is faster…

What hosting provider is that? How many other websites are hosted on this server?

Hi,

that is php, not css and as such you need to add it in function.php of your theme.

p.s. you should be able to momentarely fix this adding this in GD > Design > Scripts > Custom CSS

Yes that makes much more sense.

The popular category widget is using geodir_ucwords to capitalize the 1st letter of each word of category names.

I’ve asked to the developers if there is an easy way to do this.

Hi,

does that plugin work with Custom Post Type and Custom Taxonomies? GD doesn’t use categories and tags, they are used by posts only.

GD uses taxonomies gd_placecategory and gd_place_tags.

that’s only possible if you upload images in 4:3 format. 800px X 600px for example.

In that case they would look perfect everywhere.

Hi,

I’ve just tested trying to add the city of Prishtina in a multi location install and the API is not returning Serbia, so probably it is returning Kosovo and we just need to add Kosovo as a country to hopefully make it work.

We’ll keep you posted.

Hi,

there is no way to do that and it would be counterintuitive.

Search queries will look into Title, Descrtiption, Categories and Tags.

If you want user to browse categories or tags, they should be clicking on a link instead of searching.
