Hi Olga, that’s the buddypress integration, you need the buddypress plugin… do you have that installed too?
This reply has been marked as private. If at least one of your listings has a telephone number, there should be the regular db field “phone”.
If you don’t see it, we should check your site and possibly the export file.
Let us know,
Thanks
July 25, 2019 at 2:48 pm in reply to: solution for taking payment first then completing listing #499582There is no such thing as logging in to the membership or GeoDirectory. Users login to WordPress through both.
It is the add listing page that should be behind the membership plugin.
Thanks
July 24, 2019 at 10:08 pm in reply to: solution for taking payment first then completing listing #499471You could use a membership plugin to restrict the add listing page for each package and make all packages free within GeoDirectory. Basically you use the membership plugin to collect payments rather than using our invoicing plugin.
Only downside will be that if a user cancel the automatic payment, GeoDirectory will not know.At the moment there’s no other option.
Thank you
The only workaround would be the franchising manager add-on, asking them for each franchise listing to only add the city name as the address.
If you want to charge per number of ZIP code selected, categories would be the only way to go. So each ZIP code is a category.
And for each price you allow a growing number of categories.
That said, GeoDirectory is not really made for similar sites.
It is designed to show the location (1 address) where the business/place is located, not the areas that it serves.
Thanks
You could use one or more “admin only” HTML custom fields with the ads script as the default value and restrict them according to your prices.
At that point, you should be able to show the listings more or less where you want.
I flagged this for Stiofan in case he knows a better way.
Thanks
Hi,
sorry, but that is not an option.
That is not an option, but I asked the question to the developers and they’ll let us know if there is a workaround or not after the weekend.
Thank you
It is.
Create a search page. Assign it as the Search template as shown in your screenshot.
Copy the archive template shortcodes in it.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks
