Hi,
you can’t turn off archives in wordpress, via Yoast you can tell search engine not to index them, however if you don’t index archives, you will only index single listings and your pages including the home page. Meaning if someone search “Category in Location” and you have results for that query, google will ignore them.
Why would you do that?
You are taking something simple and overcomplicating it. In addition, this is another support question for the SEO plugin support forum. Doesn’t belong here.
Thanks
no, actions require functions. You need to create a functions echoing the custom field and then call the function via the action.
Thanks
January 19, 2016 at 6:00 pm in reply to: How to hide "post author" (email address) in reviews and ratings #69378Hi,
when registering we require email and full name. The full name part is used in reviews, they should simply avoid reporting the email address where we request the full name.
Please see image attached.
Thanks

For example you have 2 categories:
Clubs and Discos.
Then you have 3 listings all assigned to both Clubs and Discos catgeory, when visiting them, both archive pages will be almost identical.
In that case Google could flag them as duplicate.
Best solution would be to merge the 2 categories into 1. Clubs & Discos.
Hope this helps,
Thanks

we support Yoast 100% and you shouldn’t worry about that message.
Your author archive page on GeoDirectory will look nothing like your home page.
As it says, that’s only the case for a single author blog, with the blog index used as home page.
Thanks
Hi,
if that’s the case, something is breaking your website validation, because by default you can’t submit a review without ratings.
Please provide a link and admin credentials in a privated reply and we will have a look.
Thanks
January 19, 2016 at 4:52 pm in reply to: Disable access to pages such as "listing-preview" etc #69357what would be the issue with that?
Link and admin credentials please, you porbably need to exclude another style sheet from a plugin.
Let us know,
Thanks
Thanks for letting us know 🙂
I’ve read your feedback, thank you, however this is not the place to suggest new features.
We only implement stuff if supported by the majority of members.
URL/places/me
This is not possible.
Thanks
Thanks for letting us know 🙂
it isn’t as simple, it is actually a completely different function. This should be considered customizations and if you have many other requests like these, you should be looking for a developer to hire to help you out.
Customizations are beyond support.
Thanks
You are welcome 🙂
Hi,
I’m not sure why anyone would think that editing the email address in the listing form, would change their username too…
That doesn’t make any sense.
How many users did you come across with this problem?
In any cse, I’m sorry but what you want to do isn’t possible without a cusntomization.
Thanks
