Yes it is, list view is messed up in sidebar. Just set the width to 100% and grid 2 column. it will do a grid with only 1 column.
Thanks
You are welcome 🙂

p.s. I’d really wait for the new neighbourhood system. This that we had until now was pretty rudimentary and you are testing it basically for nothing. The new system is ready, we are just doing final testing it and it should be released before the end of the month.
Thanks
That is not possible, the shortcode isn’t a menu item. Why don’t you add it as a menu item to the top menu where you have this links?

Hi,
no we don’t, I’m sorry.
We prefer to keep that internally and announce new features whenthey are ready for testing.

Hi,
1) the detail page sidebar doesn’t have a class widget and your theme is adding css to that class only for the sidebar. You’ll need some custom css to make that part of the detail sidebar match your theme css.
2) I’m not sure what you want to do here.
3) That is a WordPress option in Settings >> Reading.
Let us know and please share link and credentials if you want us to have a look for you.
Thanks
Hi,
we use wordpress comment as review system and WordPress doesn’t allow empty comments. The only way would be to hack WP corec files and we strongly advise against it.
Thanks
Thanks for letting us know 🙂
Hi,
none of the admin pages is styled for me, even the wp-login.php page. (if yuo clear your browser cache you’ll probably see the same)
I don’t think this is a problem related to GeoDirectory…
I’d start by deactivating all plugin and update wordpress.
Let us know how you went.
Thanks
hi,
2) that’s not possible, when a user change location, he’s redirected to the home page of that location. The system cannot work any other way. After they set their location, they can start browsing categories for that location.
3) You can do that using the “Near” field of the search form. Then with custom filters you can restrict even further. once you use the near field the search results will be ordered by distance by default.
4) I’d need to check your settings for this, please provide a link and admin credentials and I’ll have a look.
Thanks
Hi,
Place is the default CPT and cannot be removed, if you don’t need it just don’t use it and it will not appear anywhere.
You can rename everything about it like name and slug, but you can’t change the Custom Post Type prefix (gd_place).
Here I renamed it to “Attractions” http://wpgeo.directory/
The only places where you’ll read gd_place are the add listing form in the URL: http://wpgeo.directory/add-listing/?listing_type=gd_place
and again in the URL of search realted to that CPT: http://wpgeo.directory/?geodir_search=1&stype=gd_place&s=+&snear=&sgd_placecategory[]=&sgeo_lat=&sgeo_lon=
Everywhere else in the front end it will show Attractions.
Thanks
Hi,
are you using the Near Me of the search form or the main geolocation?
if the 1st, that is part of the search machanism and you need to click search to trigger a search near you.

Thanks
Hi,
few version back we changed how the home page work to solve compatibility issues with few themes.
You should select GD Homepage as you GD Home page in GeoDirectory >> Pemalinks like explained here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/basic-installation/#home
If that is not the issue, please provide a link and admin credentials and we will have a look.
Thanks for your patience,
Hi,
can you import anything from Yelp or eevry URL return that error?
Did enter your Yelp API settings in GeoDirectory >> Social Importer >> Yelp?
I just double checked on our demo and it works correctly.

Thanks
Hi,
the Google Maps API to search for addresses doesn’t return POI.
In the near field you can only input location names (country, region, city) zip code or addresses.
Thanks
