You can evenutally hide the tags field, but title and description are mandatory wordpress elements for a post…
They can’t be hidden.
Thanks
Hi,
the 1st 3 fields can’t be moved around.
There is no option to do that. You’d have to customize the add listing template functions.
Thanks
we are here for that 🙂
Thanks
p.s. I suggest to open new topics for anything else you may need. This is set as resolved and could have been overlooked.
Thx
Hi Aprils,
you were still working on the old database structure. Running the fix in GD Tools to convert the db to the newset version fixed it.
This is a one off thing needed after updating to 1.3.0. Won’t be needed again in the future.
Thanks
This reply has been marked as private. The correct folder is named wp-content/languages/geodirectory or wp-content/languages/geodirlocation depending which po/mo files you are working on.
The 1st for the core plugin the second for the multi location addon.
Did you edit the po file with poedit and saved to create the new mo file?
Are you editing the correct mo/po file? Each plugin has its own.
In any case you can change those labels from the backend in GD >> Place settings >> Address field
Just open it and you will find the option to change Country / Region / City labels.
Let us know,
Thx
Hi,
can you please provide a URL and wp admin credentials in a private reply?
we will look into it.

Hi,
for that having an extra class in GD pages won’t help.
Just add this to your css:
.geodir-x .x-2-3 ul { list-style: inside none disc; }Thanks
p.s. without that css rule nothing would change either becasue X css too has list-style none for UL.
Hi,
now it worked.
I’ve added what Guust suggested:#geodir-wrapper { margin: 0 auto; max-width: 100%; min-width: 768px; width: 1290px; }I also changed map width to 100% in Appearance >> Widgets >> GD Home Top Section >> GD > GMap Home Page.
In the documentation section you can find many information about how to proceed. http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/
Let us know if you have any other questions.
Thanks
just FYI : http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/layout/
Thanks
We’re glad you were able to fix it! 🙂
I see the class???
Please see image attached.
Thanks I’ll set this as solved.
That shortcode doesn’t work because the person making the enquiry is not always a registered user. Most of the time he’s not, the email is taken from the input field directly.
For the shortcode to work, the email should be in the database, but it’s not most of the time, cause that’s a contact form that doesn’t save anything in your db.
The email is present in the reply-to field of the email header so to see it you just need to click reply.
Let us know,
Thx
Hi,
