Hi,
the main reason why we do it that way is to keep queries fast, we definitely don’t do it to avoid users to customize the plugin.
What you want to do is absolutely feasible and pretty standard.
1) Use only custom post type and all listings will appear on the map.
2) Create your categories.
3) Create a free and premium price and enable the same categories for both.That’s it.

for the more info tab not showing in the front end we would have to see your settings.
If you provide a URL and wp admin credentials we will have a look.
The part would require a customization of the add listing form. Not a simple one.
Here we don’t provide customization services. You can post your request in the Jobs section of the forum and see if any freelance developer is interested in helping you out.

as explained above, you must be browsing the Everywhere location. You don’t have (or I can’t see it) the location switcher in place, so probably no session is saved and the results are not correct.

Mainly the problem will appear with multilocation because cached page will not consider sessions.
Another problem can appear with maps if you ask the plugin to minify and concatenate your js files.
Very soon GD booster will be released and I highly suggest to use that instead of any other caching plugin.

Hi Friendly fire,
that is a php warning, it should only be logged in your error log and it doesn’t prevent the application from working.
Since the latest version of PHP, this kind of error logging it is turned on by default, but it really shouldn’t.
If you add this to your child theme functions.php it will disappear:
error_reporting(E_ERROR);We will include the fix to remove the warning completely in a future version.

Consider that I’m in Mexico and my connection is everything but fast (when it works)…
I’ve tested now the Business CPT page and it loaded in approx 7 sec.
oh, I’m not using a clock to test the pages, I use firebug Net module.
