Hi,
I was able to access the website via FTP, but no longer wp-admin.
Now I keep getting:
Database Update Required WordPress has been updated! Before we send you on your way, we have to update your database to the newest version. The update process may take a little while, so please be patient. Update WordPress DatabaseWhen I click update, a blank message appear and when I try to go to wp admin, I get the above message again.
I think the server isn’t setup properly. Probably a module or 2 are not installed, reason why the plugin would throw an error when activating.
I’m just guessing, because I haven’t been able to proceed.

HI, like Simone, Stiofan isn’t able to visit your website.
He’s getting : “This webpage is not available”.Probably you have mod_security enabled in your server or something similar.
That could be the cause of other issues too.
Please ask to your server admin to disable it.

I’ve partially rebuilt your website.
The problem with redirect seems to be database related.
How did you import all the Spain’s location? I think there are some special characters in there, which are messing up the db.
I need to ask to Stiofan to have a look at this.

it did what it meant to do, try to remove it and see the difference.
It removed the bullet point at the right of each checkbox which was cconfusing and added margins to categories, so that the – next to subcategories is more evident.

I don’t think Guust has the exact same problem. Your events are truncated.
In your website, not only there is no data for dates, hours and all other custom fields, but the fields are totally missing. Which means the db is missing some table/data.
My suggestion would be to try and a fresh install of everything: WordPress, GeoDirectory and Events.
If you need to keep what you have in your pages now, you can export them with wordpress tools and import them back.

we would still have to run an extra query, to see if it is inactive or not…
I’m sure we can improve the system a lot and that’s what we keep doing every day, but in this case, if the system is used as designed, not adding empty locations in advance, Google rules are perfectly respected.
The problem arise if admin adds empty locations, when he shouldn’t.

we created the multilocation system so that the site admin didn’t have to create any location in advance.
Users can add new locations while submitting listings.
All this to prevent empty locations and /or a query to check if the location is empty before loading the content, which would slow down the overall performance of the website.

I think Guust meant that we use a custom walker function for comments/reviews.
Facebook/Wordpress plugins I think will only be able to replace the default commenting system.

This is a known bug with the Avada Child theme.
It places the location switcher in a mobile wrapper that makes the autoredirect not work.
We are looking for a solution.
A temporary fix, could be to add the location switcher via shortcode anywhere else in your page (outside menu), hide it by default with css and show it only when visited via mobile.

Hi,
I don’t think you will find a plug and play script for this.
It would have to know where to get the latitude and longitude from, grab the streetview image and add it to the gallery.
This will definitely require custom work or a dedicated addon.
