I feel your frustration, but as I said, the plugin was designed to prevent users to add places in restricted locations. If you set all default it will allow to submit only in default.
Maybe you had customized the location manager to bypass the validation?
I did a quick search through your old posts and I don’t really find anything realted to this, so I don’t really know how we can help you.
Thx
I’ve found it, there is no shortcode in there.
[geodir_location_switcher]
But there is another problem. Looks like your default page template is messed up and that must have something to do with the visual composer.
I’ve created a normal page with the shortcode and it seems to work.

Let us know,
Thx
Hi,
I see your hotels (see image attached).
Where can I see the page with the location switcher shortcode?
Thx
Hi Stacey,
images are good to show the problem, but not really that useful to solve the problem. We need to see it in action.
Would you please (always) provide a URL and possibly wp admin credentials rather than only screenshots?
Thanks
October 23, 2014 at 5:37 pm in reply to: Fatal error: Call to undefined function geodir_is_geodir_page() #19290If you had everything set to Enable default _____ (_____ drop-down will not appear on add listing and location switcher). so in frontend there was no dropdown, that’s normal plugin behaviour not to allow to add anything outside of it.
We never provided a tool or workaround for that, so I don’t really know how to help you.
I’ll ask Stiofan and the other if they remember about this.
Thx
Hi,
what you are trying to do is conceptually wrong.
You are exporting the data from the DB and trying to import it back from the CSV file.
If you wish to import anything from the CSV upload within GD, you must ONLY use the provided Sample file and add data to it in the right format as shown in the example. You can only add custom field usgin geodir_html_variable at the end of it.
Thanks,
October 23, 2014 at 5:26 pm in reply to: How to disable default location in add listing form? I want "empty fields" #19284HI,
the map below will not be able to render and it will be even more confusing.
I think the best thing here would be to add some sort of “Instructions” to your users.
For example, below address field, where the plugin originally says : Please enter listing address. eg. : 230 Vine Street.
You could add a better description. Something like Make sure to select correct region and country too!.
Thx
Gald it was solved! 🙂
Hi,
what do you mean by “I thought that the “Favorites” dropdown in My Dashboard was going to be returned in the new update but it is not there”.
We never removed it.
Please try to explain the situation with a little more details…
Thx
HI,
would you please provide a link and wp admin credentials pls?
Thx

Hi,
I’m glad this at least solved the issue. You are not the only one who reported this: you can follow up on the issue here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/fatal-error-call-to-undefined-function-geodir_is_geodir_page/
We will try to track it down before next update.
Thx
Hi,
it has been fixed on our test website and tested with few other themes, but eventually there is a specific problem with your theme.
Would you be willing to provide FTP credentials for further testing?
Let us know,
Thx
October 23, 2014 at 4:40 pm in reply to: Fatal error: Call to undefined function geodir_is_geodir_page() #19275Hi,
I’ve added a note in our project manager tool to get to the bottom of this.
Something is preventing the plugin from re-activating after updating. With this update it seems to have happened to 4 members so far, out of few hudreds.
But it is something that randomly happened in the past with other updates to other members and we really need to get to the bottom of this.
Thx
Both category and address fields are below the main content editor in the backend. Or you can also edit them in the front end which will make it clearer.
Let us know.
Thx
