October 2, 2014 at 5:37 pm in reply to: How do I skip "Popular Places" / "View All" on the Listing pages? #17314
Everything seem to work as it should.
The only problem I could see, was that in Permalinks you disabled: “Add location in urls”, reason why the URL of the View All link wasn’t showing the location, but listings were filtered correctly.

Thx
Hi,
Widgets can only be used in widgets areas from appearance >> widgets.
Not in editors.
Thanks
I’ve moved this into the Jobs forum. Developer are more likely to see it and answer here.
Thx
what version of multilocation you have installed?
Hi Sam,
ok I just watched the video.
I think you should use the “Google address autocomplete” (last option down at the bottom in multilocations settings).
In any case, you don’t need to add the location in advance.
Example on our demo :
1) I’m adding the listing you used as exmaple. The location Bloomington IN is not in our database already.
2) I copy the address in the address field.
3) I select the right result from the suggested results.
4) City, region, zip, lat and long are automatically selected
5) Submit listing and both the new location and the listing are now in your database.
See image attached.
Looking at your Multilocation list, I see that you have several “fake locations” that you should remove. Things like : all, all, florida, will confuser the system.
The list in both region and city select, is a shortlist (doesn’t inlcude all regions and city) and should present the most used. Not having much use now, they show quite randomly.
Above the list though, there is a search filed that will allow to pull up any location entered in your database. If you type in a location that is not already in your database (even without using the autocompleter) it will be added to your location database as well.
Hope it’s clearer now.

Hi,
that FTP users doesn’t have access to wp-content?
I can’t access the plugins folder.
I would really prefer to working on a staging website though. WordPress themes and plugins are written by different developers and there can be conflicts.
Trying to fix errors on a website that people are visiting, is like trying to fix a bycicle while riding it… Could lead to disasters.

Hi,
currently there are no options to do somthing similar.
It would require a customization.
Thx
glad you solved.
Thx
You can fix that with:
.single-gd_place #sidebar-page-wrapper { background: none repeat scroll 0 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0); }
As I said, it is a patch…
THx
Hi,
is your multilocations addon up to date?
I can’t seem to recreate this in any of our test websites.
Can you please provide a link and wp admin credentials in a private reply?
Thx
I Couldn’t explain it better… it is as easy as that.
If a subcategory is added to a listing, make sure to always add its parent category too.
Thx

October 1, 2014 at 5:32 pm in reply to: Unable to update plugins purchased from http://themetailors.com/ #17161Hi,
The option to Sync ThemeTailors.com account, only unlocks the forums for the addon purchased.
The autoupdate option hasn’t been implemented yet.
To update addons purchased on themtailors.com you must download the updated version from your orders page from themtailors.com and manually update.
Thank you,
