September 29, 2014 at 6:28 pm in reply to: How to hide the option to choose default category in "new listing" form? #16893
Hi,
I have to slightly correct what Simone explained.
The default catgeory defines the category showing in the URL, if the post is in more than 1 catgeory. The icon on the map is picked up differently and we can’t force it to use the default catgeory.
Thx
September 29, 2014 at 5:14 pm in reply to: How do I skip "Popular Places" / "View All" on the Listing pages? #16884This reply has been marked as private.Hi,
I couldn’t fix the database thing because of wrong credentials “Error: Ha introducido un nombre de usuario o contraseña incorrecto.”
Also permalinks are missing.
That FTP user can’t do anything… (see img attached.)
You could create the .htaccess your self in the website root (where wp-config is) and make it writable (777 permission).
Thx
Hi,
We could add an option to tick/untick categories by default, so that they would be present on map, but not visible until the user tick it’s checkbox.
Howeevr, the home page map isn’t really linked to some search results. It is a generic map of your default location showing the category selected by default. (being that 1 single location or the everywhere virtual location).
Search and Listings page use a different map, (GD> Listing map).
Hi, t next release Stiofan is talking about hasn’t been released yet.
Should be tomorrow.
Thx
Hi and sorry for the late reply.
The Latest avada components have been updated friday, but your problem seems to be settings related.
If you provide wp admin credentials in a private reply, we will have a look into it.
Thx
Hi,
no Event’s is an Extra CPT (we had to make an addon specific for it), while extra CPT that you can create with Custom Post Types addon are all like places.
Thx
Hi,
I’m almost done, but I need to enable permalinks and I need FTP access to create the .htaccess file. WordPress is not able to create the .htaccess file automatically because of server permissions.
Can you please provide both FTP and phpmyadmin/db credentials?
Let me know,
Thx for your patience,

can you please provide a link and wp admin credentials in a private reply so that we can have a look at it?
Thx
September 27, 2014 at 4:26 pm in reply to: Link to Business Function Issues Events/Prices & Payments #16733Hi,
hopefully in next release (can’t promise it though). The developer started working on it already. This is aprt of a bigger re-work of this function.
Linked event will appear in a new tab (similar to related listings). It will work for all CPT and in my opinion the link list shouldn’t be provided at all. If you have millions of listings it would become unusable. A search field with autocompleter would be the ideal solution.
Thx
Hi,
the problem is in the location. You have 2 Salou and 1 doesn’t appear to be created correctly.
I’d need to cancel locations and start over.
At the same time I see that you keep working on it, that it makes it difficult for me to fix it.
Let me know,
Thx
Hi,
you selected the category in addition to the CPT. You should unselect all.
Please read the message at the bottom of that page:
Note: Tick respective post type or categories which you want to hide from home page map widget.
Unticked = visible
Ticked = hidden
THx
Hi,
would you please provide a link and wp admin credentials in a private reply?
Normally that’s due to a php error, do you have an error log in your server? If yes, can you give us the url to have a look at it too?
Thx
In GD >> Design >> Map, you have both custom post types hidden.
In that case the map doesn’t have anything to load.
I wanted to fix it for you, but now I’m getting a nginx error 504 Gateway Time.out
thx
Please provide wp admin credentials in a private reply and we will get you started.
By the way, did you read the basic installation doc?
