There is no such option at the moment.
Please consider that adding so many options to show or not a part of any page, in the end will slow down plugin performances.
Plugins can’t do everything and anything. But they are open source for a reason. Most part of a template can be modified with 3 lines of code (without affecting plugin performances) and adapted to anyone’s need.
In case you think it’s really essential you know what to do: Submit a feature request : here

We are looking into giving an option to hide places from the advance search widget post type select.
It should be in a next coming version.
Thx
That setting is what I was talking about…
Hi,
could you please post a link and wp admin credentials if you haven’t already solved?
We will have a look.

Hi,
Apps for GeoDirectory are in the roadmap, but still pretty far from being available.
We will decide about pricing once we know how much time we invested developing them.
Thx
Hi and welcome.
1 Cities and Regions will be added dynamically by users, while adding listings for regions and cities that are not yet in your database.
2 you can chose to that manually, but that will reslult in a lot pages without results.
3 Events is just another Custom Post Type (with different fields). There are no differences between Places and Events setup.
4 Go to GeoDirectory >> Place settings for example and create any type of custom fields. In each custom field settings, you can enable them as extra filters in advance search. Once enabled it will appear in GeoDirectory >> Places settings >> Advance search tab and it can be activated and used in search.
Let us know if you have any other questions.
Thx

I think the only solution here (when google map isn’t able to return a region) would be to disable the address autocompleter on the add listings form.
I’ll ask Stiofan to confirm.
Thx
Hi Giovanni,
the CSV data should be delimited by ” (double quotes) and , (commas).
Right now that file is using different delimiters. Are you using open offic to edit them?

To fix this I would delete the essen-und-trinken page and restore the virtual page (that should never be changed) and only play with the location prexif in Permalink settings to change it. (location prefix should be 1 word)
Thanks
Hi,
As far as the previous and next link I added the task in our project management tool. There is queue and it will be worked on as soon as we get there,
For the second question, no that is definitely not possible without a major customization…
September 5, 2014 at 5:43 pm in reply to: How To Change “Listing Title” or “Listing Description” #14450Hi,
all pre-defined label of each template can be translated, that way the plugin can be used in other languages. The same exact method is used to change the text of any given text.
You can do that in 5 easy steps following this guide : http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/translate-core/
Basically you have to :
1 download and install poedit on your computer : http://poedit.net/
2 copy the file geodirectory-en_US.po that you find in geodirectory/geodirectory-languages in a folder of your computer (desktop for example), than open it with poedit.
3 in that file you find all the text string the plugin uses by default. Search for “Listing title” and in the translation box add “Profile Name”. Do the same for all other text you want to modify.
4 save the file. After saving you will find a new file in the folder where you originally copied geodirectory-en_US.po, called geodirectory-en_US.mo.
5 with an FTP client or via cpanel add a folder called languages in your wordpress install wp-content folder. Inside the language folder add another folder called with the name of the plugin. In this case geodirectory. At the end it should look like this : /wp-content/languages/geodirectory/geodirectory-en_US.mo
6 if you are keeping your site in english, thee is no need to follow the last step of the guide. Just refresh the page and the text should change.Let us know if this is easy enough to follow or not.
Thank you,
Hi,
I’m sorry I should have looked deeper. You had the GD > Related Listing in the “GD Detail Bottom Section” widget area.
On chrome was showing at the bottom, but on firefox it covering the whole page with a white container. Reason why I thought you were “playing around” with templates.
I removed the widget and now everything looks good.
Let us know.
SEO fixes are on their way.
Thx
