Changing URL in database via find and replace will damage PHP serialized strings/objects. It will result in misplaced widgets.
That’s a known issue with WP migrations in general.
There are tools and also plugins that will allow to change all DB URL instances without losing widgets settings.

If you use one of these tools, moving to a new URL will be very easy and effective.

Yes, copy header.php inside your child theme and use use the conditional tag :
geodir_is_geodir_page()That way if it is a geodirectory page you can use 1 menu, else you use the extended one for all other non GD pages…

There are few example of how to edit/hide sidebar items in the forum (try to search for :remove_action), you can start looking at them and figure out the rest.

Looks like it made it worst and the map now doesn’t load at all? The ajax call to get marker is performed correctly though.
We would really need wp admin and ftp credentials to debug this.
