From my point personal of view and in order of importance:
1) it is a phone problem if the files have spaces and dots in the file name.
2) it is a user problem, who tries to upload a file with spaces and dots in it.
Just to reassure you, in 3 years selling and supporting GeoTheme, none of our members ever reported such a problem. I really don’t think this can turn into a common issue.
Anyway, I’ll ask Vikas if there is any way to validate something like that.
Thx
Done.
As far as awesomefont goes, I think there is a problem with your browser. Icons are displaying just fine on wpgeodirectory.com with any browser on my end.
When I randomly get that problem (very rarely on firefox) and on any website, I just clear cache and problem vanishes.
For the sidebar issue, I quote John’s explanation.
Thx
This reply has been marked as private.Hi,
GeoTheme is 1 product, GeoDirectory is another.
1 is a theme packed with all features, the other is a plugin that allows to add similar features into any theme.
Obviouslty it is totally useless to try to use them together.
You can use 1 or the other.
Let us know how you want to proceed.
Thx
Hi,
without a link to see it what you are describing, it is almost impossible to help you.
Please provide a link and we will do our best to fix this problem.
Thx
Thanks for spotting this, I’ve corrected on the tutorial and reported the error to the pugin developer.
Thx
HI,
just a little edit to Guust css.
It should be either:
.geodir-i-radio {margin-left: 3px;}
or
.fa-eur {margin-right: 3px;}
Let us know,
August 1, 2014 at 10:05 pm in reply to: Favorites Page uses location and switches to directory #10715If you have more than 1 location, you should add the location switcher in the main menu. It can be added throught the location manager admin page.
If you use 1 location only you should disable both location manager and share location addons.
Let me know,
there are no categories enabled for the CPT Dog Friendly attractions… see image attached
Go to geodirectory > design > map and untick categories or create some if you don’t have any. Categories are mandatory.
Hi,
I just tested here : http://wpgeo.directory/attractions/united-states/illinois/chicago/landmark/willis-tower/
video appeared in preview and it appears both in video tab and sidebar in the pubblished page.
Are you using the embed code?
August 1, 2014 at 9:51 pm in reply to: Favorites Page uses location and switches to directory #10710Hi,
You have multilocation enabled, but you don’t have the location switcher in place and that doesn’t allow to set sessions correctly.
At the same time you have geolocation enabled, which works with sessions and is probably getting messed up by the problem above.
Let us know,
Thx
this is not an image : http://mchenrylife.com/c/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/3101_2014-07-04-11.49
it should have a .jpg or .png as extension .49 is not a valid image extension.
As I said, it looks like a problem with the image format.
Can you please try to open them with photoshop or any other image editor and resave them in jpg format before uploading them?
Thanks
Hi,
the problem is that you haven’t understood the templating of the plugin yet.
If you enable GD home to be the site home page, the location page it is used as home page.
http://wpgeo.directory/ = Home page of location EVERYWHERE
http://wpgeo.directory/attractions/ = listings page of CPT attractions for location EVERYWHERE
http://wpgeo.directory/events/ = listings page of CPT events for location EVERYWHEREhttp://wpgeo.directory/location/united-states/illinois/chicago/ = Home page of location CHICAGO (this page is identical to home page, it only filters the listing by location.)
http://wpgeo.directory/attractions/united-states/illinois/chicago/ = listings page of CPT attractions for location CHICAGO
http://wpgeo.directory/events/united-states/illinois/chicago/ = listings page of CPT events for location CHICAGOThan you have the details page which is almost identical for all CPT.
Hope it’s clearer now.
now you have :
#nav ul li, #snav ul li { z-index: 4000; }
Delete it and add :
#nav ul li { z-index: 1001; } #snav ul li { z-index: 1002; }
Thx
