HI,
advancesearch.png shows that none of the options are active.
Left box options available.
Right box active options…
Currently there is no option to select a different CPT in the search box. The default is places. If you are using only one CPT, you could rename places to what you need instead of creating a second CPT.
Anyway we are working on a improved advance search addon that should solve this problem allow to search all CPT from the home page.
Thx
Yes, 4 +1 don’t make it enough to add a new feature. It is less than 1% of users.
We will consider it anyway, but it’s not on top of our priorities.
Thx
for some reason, post from free users with a link in it are flagged automatically as spam by bbpress.
I’m trying to understand why…
Sorry about the inconvenience.
Thx
Just replace it.
I’ve attached 1 that I’ve tested and it works (2,608b)
I’ll ask Vikas to add it as default in next version.Thx for spotting this.
July 2, 2014 at 6:02 pm in reply to: GeoDirectory Location Manager Breaks Permalinks & List views #7271So I was right, Stiofan is still working on the autoupdate for TT purchases.
You’ll have to update the old way. Download from TT and manually update.
Let me know,
Hi,
a sessions should be saved with user preferences.
It looks like a bug and I’ve already asked Vikas to fix this asap.
Thanks
Hi,
I’ve already asked to Stiofan how someone is supposed to create a child theme if the framework default css options are printed on the header after the child theme stylesheet.
We agree there is a problem here.
In my opinion framework css options should be printed in the header, only if the user has modified the default options.
The theme should use the main css for the default style and the child theme css should be able to override it.
That way a child theme would look different, but user could still take advantage of the customizer and framework options.
Stiofan is looking into this alrady and a solution will be provided with the next GDF release.
Thx
July 2, 2014 at 5:27 pm in reply to: GeoDirectory Location Manager Breaks Permalinks & List views #7260UPDATE: Actually autoupdate seems to works, now that I updated a new version on TT too, it does prompt to update it on your website.
I’ll make sure to never miss something like this again. I’ve added it to my “update adoons” check list
– double check that all addons are also updated on TT.
Thanks!
July 2, 2014 at 5:25 pm in reply to: GeoDirectory Location Manager Breaks Permalinks & List views #7259Hi,
you are using an outdated version of MultiLocations. Latest version is 1.0.6.
I think that’s my fault. I was positive I had updated it on Theme Tailors, but it looks like either I didn’t save, or I didn’t do it at all.
I’m terribly sorry about it and having wasted your time to sort this problem.
I’ve uploaded it now, please download from latest from Theme Tailors and update it. I’m not sure auto updates of addons currently works for TT buyers.
Thx
We can go either way:
1) remove option to upload images in replies.
or
2) add the image, if present, in the reply template.
Personally I’d prefer solution n1.
Allowing pic uploading in replies could lead to confusion and heavy loading page.
Any other member’s advise?
Hi,
All your addons needs updating. That will start making things better.
But the biggest problem is another one, even though I’m logged in as admin, in the front end it doesn’t sees me as logged in.
The login dashboard still asks for Username and Password.
Did you notice that?
I think that’s do to a domain problem in the cookie wordpress uses to see if a user is logged in or not. Dashboard and front end are showing totally different domains.
But that’s just an assumption. You should ask your Server admin why that is happening…
July 2, 2014 at 4:44 pm in reply to: GeoDirectory Location Manager Breaks Permalinks & List views #7249Whatever I click on in your dashboard I get : File not found.
I’d try to reinstall wordpress. Nobody reported a problem like that for neither GD or the Location manager.
If you give us FTP credentials we can have a deeper look for you.
Let us know,
Personally I think we should remove option to upload images on replies to reviews…
Hi,
in GeoDirectory >> CPT settings >> Sorting Options.
In the demo we have 3 sorting options enabled for Attractions and none is “Default”.
That way the distance sorting (which is the built in option) remain the default, but user can sort by featured or reviews asc/desc.
See iamge attached for settings.
Hi,
by the end of this week, Stiofan will provide a comprehensive tutorial on how to adapt the plugin to virtually any theme.
Obviously you must have at least a decent understanding of HTML to accomplish it.
In addition, you are trying to run GD on a theme with black background on the content area and that will force you to change all text and borders to a clearer color.
Thx
