Hi pix3x,
the answer to your question is i previous replies to this post, here they are summed up: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/hosting/page/2/#post-4362
WPEngine doesn’t handle PHP sessions. You should ask them to uncache all GD pages of your website for it to work correctly…
Thx
Hi,
I asked VIkas to follow up on this too.
Currently we are working on improving the advance search, allowing all CPT to be searched at once. Also showing all CPT in the main map and extend radius search to show places beyond a single location…
I guess after this we will be able to look into better events addon and better linking system for Events and CPTs.
Thx
Hi John,
great job!
Thx
Hi,
that is done, because the custom search form is based on CPT.
We are rethinking Advance search and we will provide alternative solution with the next coming update.
Thx
They are on the page because they can be changed via framework admin pages or customizer.
I guess you are using GDF?
The content not showing correctly in mobile was solved with the last update. I think you might have to update GDF too or simply browse your cache.
Let us know,
I don’t know why you said that you added it, in your child theme functions.php there was no :
remove_all_filters('wp_title');
see image attached.
I added that line of code, saved and the title is fixed.
Thx
Hi,
what you did doesn’t look right. I don’t think you followed instructions, because the mo file is empty.1) You need to open the po file with “poedit”: download here: http://poedit.net/download.
2) Select the line you want to translate and translate it in the right box (see image attached. I know you only want to modify it, but the process is identical)
3) save the po file. It will create a mo file in the same folder where the po file originally was. Upload the mo file in the folder as shown in your picture.
Let us know,
I don’t see that problem on my mobile.
What browser are you using?
I’ll ask Stiofan to have a look. He’s got Android.
Here I only have an iPhone.
Thx
Hi,
new users are subscribers by default on WordPress.
Did you activate and setup Claim Listing addon?
once you do, you will see a link “Business Owner?” in the sidebar of each listing.
(see image)If clicked it will allow a user to send you a notification about the claim. If you approve it (or it is autoapproved), the listing becomes owner verified and the user who claimed the listing will be able to edit it or upgrade it.
If you think you did all this, send us the link and wp admin credentials in a private reply and we will check your settings.
Thx
can you provide wp admin credentials pls?
I’ll have a look.
Thx
pic uploaded? WordPress by default doesn’t allow to upload an avatar. Only if the user has a gravatar account with an avatar uploaded it will pick it up…
You are not using gravatar, otherwise we would see a picture of you ion this forum too.
Please advise.
Thx
At the moment it isn’t. Not sure how easy it would be. If many other members +1 the request we will definitely consider it.
Thx
Hi,
templates can be integrated into your theme html structure in 2 ways.
1) Using hooks and filters in your theme functions.php to remove GD default wrappers and add the theme specific wrappers.
Here there is an example of how to do that for the Enfold theme.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/enfold-compatibility-code-please-test/
2) Create a folder in your active theme/child theme called geodirectory and copy the templates in there. That will allow you to override the original templates and insert the html needed to adapt the templates to the theme.
Templates can be found in geodirectory/geodirectory-templates/
Let me know if this helps.
Thx
Hi,
I’m flagging this for Vikas to check why the widget is still filtering location.
I also asked Stiofan to correct the regular pages sidebar html format. That’s a bug for sure..
Thanks
