Hi,
I’ve simply updated the plugin and started working. I really don’t know what the problem was, but as you said it was probably due to the server configuration?
I’ve also changed theme to 2012 because 2013 as you could see it’s really messy…
There is no need to attach a file to send us credentials. You can write them directly in the message, if it is set to private only moderators will be able to read them.
Thx
Please add this to your theme stylec.css
.geodir-bubble-meta-side { display: none; } .geodir-bubble_image { width: 100%; }
Should do it…
Thx
Hi,
I don’t see this as a problem at all, it’s a customization request.
As I already told you, if you are in hurry: https://codeable.io/
There is a limit to the number of tweaks we can do for free Nasc…
Thanks
Bad example again, the site looks empty to me…
QUOTE FROM PREVIOUS MESSAGE:
As far as seeing places from locations nearby, while visiting a single location, I can already confirm that it wont be feasible.
It would require extra database queries, that would make the page loading time slow on most servers.
Quick solution to your problem would be to use the regular method to update wp products when auto update fails or isn’t provided.
Download the addon to your desktop, unzip them and overwrite the original addons via ftp in your wp-content/plugins folder.
Unfortunately I am not in the position to assist you any further on the Autoupdate, only Stiofan could and in UK right now is 4am.
Thx
Hi Purpleedge,
an implementation that should be feasible and hopefully make everyone happy is (Vikas needs to confirm this):
1) Options for admin to choose if geolocating to city, region or country instead of just city.
2) Add a location switcher into the “near” search field with a better explanation in the disappearing text (see image attached). This to make it as clear as it can get…

Please don’t forget that our product is used on shared hostings and VPSs in most cases. Very few use a dedicated server. Never seen anyone on a cluster of servers.
We don’t want you to refrain from commenting… we would like you to consider that not everything can be done so easily.
There are limits…
Let us know,
@zeb I’ve flagged your other post for Stiofan already to check why the autoupdate isn’t working correctly all the time.
Have you tried to update the addons 1 by 1?
Let us know,
Hi @paulo Cruz
please open a topic for any problem and avoid posting off-topic, that way I can flag your support request for a developer to follow up.
Thanks,
Pls try to update 1 by 1. I’m flagging this for Stiofan to follow up…
Thanks for your patience
Hi,
Please update multilocation too as explained here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/gd-core-v1-1-4-and-multilocation-1-0-6/
Thanks,
please add this to your stylesheet:
.simplemodal-container { z-index: 1515 !important; }
Thx
There is no option to do that, you’d have to modify claim listing addon files…
That widget wasn’t made to be used in either location. It’s to be used in main content area. If you don’t like what we released, free to modify it, this is a customization request.
Thx
Manilaboy,
it works. It doesn’t work as you wish. It’s different, please refrain from using the words bugs and doesn’t work…
If you are in buena park you can look for streets, if you are in any city with more than 1 zip, you can look for places around that zip within that city.
Thanks,
Try to see the big picture… you can search near a particular street or a zip code.
